Position: VP, Fidelity Customer Accessibility Governance Lead

As a member of Workplace Investing Shared Services, you will lead a cross-business digital governance capability focused on CUSTOMER level accessibility, digital standards adoption, executive transparency, and enterprise accountability.

The Role

The VP, Fidelity Customer Accessibility Governance Lead will establish and lead Fidelity's cross-business governance framework for Accessibility on customer-facing digital experiences. This leader will serve as the central point of coordination across Workplace Investing, Fidelity Brokerage, Fidelity Wealth, Fidelity Institutional, UX Design, Risk, Compliance, Legal, Product, and Engineering organizations. The role is responsible for driving executive alignment, governance routines, scorecards, standards adoption, risk visibility, and strategic communications while reinforcing business-unit accountability.

Key Responsibilities

• Establish enterprise digital governance routines and executive operating reviews. 
• Create and maintain executive scorecards, KPIs, standards adherence reporting, and transparency dashboards. 
• Provide L1/L2 leadership visibility into digital health, accessibility performance, risks, and remediation priorities. 
• Lead cross-business alignment on digital standards, controls, policies, and governance practices. 
• Serve as the central point of contact for accessibility-related regulatory, legal, compliance, and risk matters. 
• Drive enterprise adoption of accessibility standards, tooling, automation, and best practices. 
• Partner with Product, Engineering, UX, Risk, and Compliance leaders to identify gaps and improvement opportunities. 
• Establish communication strategies, listening posts, and learning programs that improve awareness and adoption. 
• Facilitate prioritization and escalation processes for enterprise digital risks and customer-impacting issues.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

• 12+ years of leadership experience in digital governance, portfolio management, program management, product management, technology leadership, risk management, or related disciplines. 
• Proven success leading enterprise-wide initiatives that span multiple business units and executive stakeholders. 
• Strong executive communication, influence, and relationship management skills. 
• Experience designing governance frameworks, operating models, scorecards, KPIs, and executive reporting. 
• Ability to influence without authority and drive consensus across complex organizations. 
• Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities. 
• Experience leading change management and enterprise transformation efforts. 
• Strong understanding of digital experience management, controls, risk mitigation, and operational excellence. 
• Familiarity with accessibility standards, digital governance, compliance, or regulatory frameworks preferred.

By creating transparency, strengthening standards adoption, and improving executive visibility into risks and outcomes, you will help Fidelity scale a sustainable digital governance capability that improves customer experience, reduces operational and regulatory risk, and reinforces trust across our digital ecosystem.

Fidelity’s Onsite Working Model
Fidelity is transitioning to a full-time onsite working model through a phased rollout across regions and roles. Currently, some roles and locations require 100% onsite presence, while others require less. Onsite expectations are likely to evolve as the rollout continues. This transition does not apply to fully remote roles.

The base salary range for this position is $125,000-258,000 USD per year.  

Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate’s relevant experience, and other factors.

Base salary is only part of the total compensation package. Depending on the position and eligibility requirements, the offer package may also include bonus or other variable compensation.
