Position Summary

The Data Solutions (DS) Practice Area within the Precision Product Solutions (PS) Business Unit focuses on the development and commercialization of industry leading data products for biopharmaceutical customers that help integrate and enrich disparate Payer, Provider, HCP and Patient data. Precision’s core products include DecodeRx Payer, DecodeRx Provider, and PatientLens.
The VP, Product Strategy is a key leadership role within the Data Solutions (DS) Practice Area that reports to the SVP, Data Solutions. The Vice President, Product Strategy will lead the vision, design, and execution of innovative data-driven products that enable pharmaceutical and life sciences organizations to optimize market access, payer engagement, and patient outcomes. This role requires a strategic leader with deep expertise in healthcare ecosystems, strong technical skills, and the ability to translate complex concepts into actionable strategies and product roadmap


Core Responsibilities

Leadership & Development

  • Lead a high-performing Product and Engineering Team covering Precision’s Data Solutions products: DecodeRx Payer, DecodeRx Provider, PatientLens
  • Coach and mentor associates on optimal performance based on Precision’s Principles: Client Service, Purpose, Accountability, Mutual Respect, Collaboration
  • Mentor and develop team members to enhance team and individual capabilities and performance.

Collaboration

  • Actively partner with Data Solutions Leadership Team to maximize strategy and execution across Data Solutions product, engineering, delivery and customer success teams.
  • Partner with Account Management and Business Development teams to better understand customer needs and to evolve product roadmap.
  • Collaborate and advise product teams across Product Solutions Practice Areas to maximize synergies.
  • Provide input and direction to key Precision AQ initiatives designed to maximize Precision’s position as the Life Sciences expert in Payer, Provider and Patient Access.

Product Innovation

  • Define and execute product strategy and roadmap aligned with market trends, client needs, and organizational goals.
  • Translate client feedback into actionable insights for product development.
  • Leverage deep understanding of pharmaceutical commercialization, healthcare ecosystem, and payer/provider dynamics to inform product design and client solutions.
  • Utilize data knowledge and mastery to drive initiatives across payer, provider, and patient master data supporting enhanced Market Access analytics.
  • Develop pricing, promotion, and positioning strategies in partnership with Data Solutions leadership team.

Marketing

  • Experience in developing cohesive marketing campaigns and tactics that deliver measurable top-of-the funnel results and maximize product name recognition.
  • Ability to create tactics for Data Solution’s products that can be used in different marketing channels ranging from Digital to Direct Sales.
  • Experience in developing compelling marketing narratives with supporting data visualizations that demonstrate product value and encourage product trial.
  • Adapt and refine product position and messaging based on active monitoring of the competitive landscape and emerging trends.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s or MBA preferred.
  • 15+ years of experience in product development for data or technology service provider with life sciences focus.
  • Experience in managing a product roadmap and in developing effective omnichannel marketing campaigns.
  • Strong understanding of pharma commercialization, market access, and patient services.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to influence in a matrix environment and drive executive-level decision-making.
  • Travel up to 30%.

This compensation range takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to: skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Precision, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.  This role is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, health insurance, retirement savings benefits, life insurance and disability benefits, parental leave, and paid time off for sick leave and vacation, among other benefits.
