Role Overview:
We are seeking a Vice President of Clinical Documentation Product to lead the design and roadmapping of cutting-edge clinical documentation, and AI-driven technologies for healthcare enterprises.
This role is central to our mission of simplifying workflows, reducing clinician burden, improving operational efficiency, and improving patient experiences through the best combination of technology-lead, human-in-the-loop products and services. 
Develop and manage speech-enabled software, such as ambient AI and front-end speech recognition, to reduce clinician burden. The focus is on converting patient conversations into EHR notes, improving documentation quality, and enhancing workflow efficiency through voice commands and AI. Success requires bridging clinical needs with technology and maintaining deep empathy for doctors, nurses, and CDI specialists.

Key Responsibilities
 
Product Strategy:
Define the vision, roadmap, and features for speech technology (e.g., ambient listening, voice commands).
User Research: Understand clinician workflows, pain points, and documentation needs across nursing, physician, and CDI teams.
Design & Development:
Partner with engineering to build intuitive, reliable documentation and handoff experiences.
Integration: Ensure solutions function seamlessly within complex EHR environments like Epic, Cerner, and Meditech.
Performance Metrics: Establish KPIs such as time saved, documentation completeness, and adoption rates.
 
Core Technologies & Concepts
 
Ambient Clinical Documentation:
AI-driven automated note generation from patient-physician conversations.
Front-End Speech Recognition:
Voice-enabled navigation, dictation, and commands within the EHR.
Generative & Conversational AI:
Automation of tasks and documentation creation from natural language.
 

Required Qualifications:

Education: 

Master’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Healthcare Management, or a related field (prefferd)

Experience:

Healthtech Expertise: Demonstrated experience in Healthtech or related industries.

Minimum of 10 years of experience in product management, with a strong record of driving feature development in Healthtech.

10+ years of leadership experience with a deep understanding, clinical documentation workflows, and healthcare product management. Expertise in healthcare interoperability.

Certifications: Relevant certifications in product management or Healthtech are desirable.

Compensation and Benefits: The Salary range for this position is $175,000 - $225,000 per year. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to current market conditions, location, education, work experience, certifications, etc. IKS Health offers a competitive benefits package including healthcare, 401k, and paid time off (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements for full-time employees).
