We are currently seeking a Vice President, Business Development to join our diverse and dynamic team. As a Vice President, Business Development at ICON, you will play a pivotal role in leading FSP strategic initiatives and blended solutions to drive growth, expand market presence, and enhance partnerships, thereby contributing to the advancement of innovative treatments and therapies.
What you will be doing
Developing and executing comprehensive business development strategies to achieve revenue targets and business objectives.
Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, including strategic partnerships, collaborations, and client acquisitions.
Building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and industry leaders.
Leading negotiations and contract discussions to secure new business opportunities and strategic partnerships.
Providing leadership and direction to the business development team, fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and accountability.
Your profile
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Life Sciences, or related field; MBA preferred.
Proven track record of success in senior business development leadership roles within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or clinical research industry.
Extensive experience in developing and executing strategic plans to drive revenue growth and market expansion.
Strong understanding of clinical trial processes, regulatory requirements, and industry trends.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively at all levels of the organization.
Ability to travel, as needed
Live in the US or UK
