Job Responsibilities:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Vice President of Business Development to lead the strategy and management of our new product suite targeting the investor relations (IR) community in our key priority markets which include US, Canada, UK, Japan. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in the investor relations sector, with a deep understanding of global markets.
Key Responsibilities:
- IR Product Line Global Strategy Development: Support the Corporate Issuer GM develop the global strategy for our new investor relations product suite, ensuring strong value propositions that cater to the needs of the IR community worldwide.
- Lead the creation of all phases of a business case (e.g. market analysis, competitive dynamics, value proposition, strategic fit, economic models and launch) to support any new initiatives.
- IR Product Line Management: Oversee the lifecycle of the product suite, from inception through to execution, ensuring successful configuration and deployment into key priority markets catering for local market nuances and customer needs.
- Collaborative Leadership: Support senior leaders in key regions including US, EMEA, Canada to ensure cohesive strategy execution and business alignment.
- Drive the execution of strategies that grow revenue through acquisitions and partnerships. Incubate new ideas for strategic investments and support the M&A pipeline, including target identification, building relationships and providing analysis and opinion on potential acquisitions
- Support regular strategy planning, forecasting, and ad-hoc reporting.
- Market Analysis: Conduct a comprehensive review of our current U.S. offerings and leverage insights to inform global strategy and expansion efforts.
- Relationship Building: Foster and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including potential clients, industry partners, and internal teams to drive business growth.
- Performance Monitoring: Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure success and identify areas for improvement in product delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Innovation and Improvement: Keep abreast of industry trends and innovations, advocating for continuous improvement to stay competitive in the global landscape.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 10+ years’ experience in a business development / product leadership role within an issuer services and/or investor relations business with demonstrated success in business development, strategy development, and product management.
- Proven experience operating in and understanding diverse global markets.
- Industry Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of the IR ecosystem and knowledge of how fintech solutions can support and transform IR activities.
- Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to inspire and lead cross-functional teams.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex ideas to a range of audiences.
- Strategic Thinking: Strong strategic and analytical thinking skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent academic background with outstanding performance with undergraduate degree coupled with ideally a graduate degree in business from a top-ranked university preferred
Salary range $200,000.00- $225,000.00. Bonus Eligible.
