Team Overview

We are seeking a dynamic, experienced learning professional to lead our digital learning platform, BlackRock Academies. This role will be responsible for the strategy and direction of the BlackRock Academies, supporting the global learning and development strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives, and fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.

The ideal candidate will have a background in learning and development, with exposure to learning design and technology, excellent problem-solving skills and a passion for developing talent.​

Key Responsibilities:​

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive digital learning and development strategy that aligns with BlackRock's business goals and objectives and represents an evolution in how we think about digital learning​

  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to identify learning needs and ensure the effective implementation of learning initiatives​

  • Create Academies governance, inclusive of senior leader sponsorship​

  • Partner with HR Technology Platform team to drive the adoption of innovative learning technologies and methodologies to enhance the learning experience and improve outcomes​

  • Establish metrics and evaluation processes to measure the effectiveness of learning programs and continuously improve their impact​

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Business, Human Resources, or a related field. Graduate degree preferred

  • At least 7 years of experience in learning and development

  • Learning design and project management​

  • Familiarity with learning content authoring tools and LMS/LXP and digital content landscape​

  • Strong strategic thinking and planning abilities​

  • Strong stakeholder management skills​

  • Strong project and time management skills​

  • Ability to drive innovation and implement new learning technologies​

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills​

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities​

  • Ability to work collaboratively across teams and regions​

  • Superior skills in Microsoft suite including proficiency knowledge in Excel and PowerPoint​

  • Desire to leverage AI in day-to-day practice​

  • Relevant certifications in learning and development, such as CPLP, PMP, or similar, are welcome​

For Atlanta, GA Only the salary range for this position is USD$130,000.00 - USD$170,000.00 . Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, and benefits including heath care, leave benefits, and retirement benefits. BlackRock operates a pay-for-performance compensation philosophy and your total compensation may vary based on role, location, and firm, department and individual performance.

Our hybrid work model

Some business groups may require more time in the office due to their roles and responsibilities.
