The Vice President of Americas Marketing (USA, Canada and LatAm) will lead a talented, growing function of regional marketers to advance MongoDB’s position in critical markets in the Americas. This is a highly visible executive leadership position. The successful candidate will be equally comfortable driving near-term results while scaling the people, processes, and systems for the future in a dynamic, hyper-growth environment. We seek a charismatic leader committed to innovation and teamwork, developing their people, and enhancing our unique corporate culture. This role will report directly to the SVP of Revenue Marketing and is pivotal to accelerating the company’s growth trajectory.
Key responsibilities:
Strategic Vision & Leadership: Develop and execute a cohesive go-to-market (GTM) strategy in the Americas that aligns with MongoDB’s growth goals, particularly in becoming the leading database for AI-powered applications. Demonstrate a solid commitment to ongoing sales and marketing alignment.Pipeline growth: Partner closely with GTM leadership to ensure alignment on priorities, build and evolve effective marketing plans that meet/exceed pipeline goals. Drive collaboration across marketing, sales, and regional partners that align with MongoDB’s overall customer acquisition, revenue, and market share objectives. Work closely with regional channel sales and field marketing teams to understand the unique needs of different markets and develop and implement scalable local territory programs.
- Market Insights: Stay ahead of industry trends and the competitive landscape to ensure MongoDB’s marketing strategies in the Americas are cutting-edge and effective in driving demand and revenue growth. Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and addressable market to guide regional priorities with a deep understanding of the market and competitive environment
- Build and grow world-class regional marketing teams: Lead and manage a team of marketers in USA, Canada and LatAm, driving campaign and event strategy that resonates with customers and prospects and delivers business impact
We're Excited About You Because:
- Proven Experience: 15+ years of experience in demand generation and revenue marketing in the Americas, focusing on technology, preferably within cloud, database, or AI sectors. Experience scaling marketing operations in companies with revenue exceeding $5B is essential. Experience in organizations with complex, strategic sales where best practices AND technology define a customer’s success. Expertise in ABM and the entire ABM and enterprise Marketing tech stack
- Leadership: Demonstrated success in building, leading, and inspiring large, diverse marketing teams. Proven ability to work cross-functionally and influence at all levels of an organization
- Strategic Vision: Strong strategic thinking with a track record of building and executing marketing strategies that drive business growth and market leadership
- Communication: Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to craft compelling narratives for different audiences
- Cultural Fit: Alignment with MongoDB’s culture of growth and its leadership principles, including a commitment to innovation, customer focus, and teamwork
- This role can be based in USA, preferably NYC, Austin, SF Bay Area

MongoDB’s base salary range for this role is posted below. Compensation at the time of offer is unique to each candidate and based on a variety of factors such as skill set, experience, qualifications, and work location. Salary is one part of MongoDB’s total compensation and benefits package. Other benefits for eligible employees may include: equity, participation in the employee stock purchase program, flexible paid time off, 20 weeks fully-paid gender-neutral parental leave, fertility and adoption assistance, 401(k) plan, mental health counseling, access to transgender-inclusive health insurance coverage, and health benefits offerings. $152,000—$298,000 USD
