You’re interested in the entire journey—from entry point to outcome—because you’re obsessed with reducing friction for our customers and building a solid brand along the way. You utilize creative and technical design skills to communicate ideas that inspire, inform, and captivate our customers across all digital channels. As a member of the team, you’ll also build dynamic brand campaigns, market events around the globe, and create digital experiences all in support of the company’s mission.

Who you’re committed to being:
  • You enjoy learning and are open to new ways of doing things.
  • You are not afraid to be yourself, experiment, make mistakes and learn from them, ask questions, or voice your concerns.
  • When communicating you are self-aware, insightful, and proactive.
What you’ll do:
  • Translate marketing objectives and campaign goals into intuitive and user-centered digital experiences that drive engagement and conversion.
  • Design and prototype user flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity mockups that balance UX best practices with visually compelling creative direction.

  • Use data and insights from analytics, A/B testing, and user behavior to inform design decisions and iterate on existing projects.
  • Maintain and evolve brand consistency across digital assets while pushing creative boundaries to deliver fresh, innovative solutions.
  • Advocate for the user throughout the design process while aligning with marketing strategies and business goals.
  • Participate in creative brainstorming sessions and contribute to the development of marketing campaigns from a UX perspective.
  • Ensure responsive, accessible design standards are applied across all digital deliverables.

What you need to know about the Boston Tech Scene

Boston is a powerhouse for technology innovation thanks to world-class research universities like MIT and Harvard and a robust pipeline of venture capital investment. Host to the first telephone call and one of the first general-purpose computers ever put into use, Boston is now a hub for biotechnology, robotics and artificial intelligence — though it’s also home to several B2B software giants. So it’s no surprise that the city consistently ranks among the greatest startup ecosystems in the world.

Key Facts About Boston Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 269,000; 9.4% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Thermo Fisher Scientific, Toast, Klaviyo, HubSpot, DraftKings
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, biotechnology, robotics, software, aerospace
  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Summit Partners, Volition Capital, Bain Capital Ventures, MassVentures, Highland Capital Partners
  • Research Centers and Universities: MIT, Harvard University, Boston College, Tufts University, Boston University, Northeastern University, Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory, National Bureau of Economic Research, Broad Institute, Lowell Center for Space Science & Technology, National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories
