In only four years our solutions have been adopted by health plans covering over 15 million lives, while our revenues and company size have quadrupled.  That growth combined with capital raises totaling $106M positions us extremely well for continued success. Opportunity Overview:

We are looking for an exceptional UX Researcher to support the full lifecycle of our products by planning and conducting user experience research and sharing compelling insights with product managers, designers, and executives. Ultimately, your work will directly impact the experience and care that patients receive when they need help the most.

As a UX Researcher, you will plan and conduct exploratory ethnographic research with patients, doctors, and healthcare workers; support designers with concept and prototype evaluation research; and design and analyze quantitative surveys. You will deliver clear and actionable research presentations that will inspire everyone. You can thrive in ambiguity and desire to learn and collaborate cross-functionally. Most of all, you are passionate about understanding how healthcare providers think, feel, and act.

Last but not least, people who succeed here are empathetic teammates who are candid, kind, and caring and embody our core values and principles. We believe that diverse, inclusive teams make the most impactful work. Cohere is deeply invested in ensuring that we have a supportive, growth-oriented environment that works for everyone.

What you will do:

  • Manage research projects from beginning to end, from planning and execution to analysis and synthesis, and then presenting insights in reports and readouts
  • Analyze the scope of research requests and develop an appropriate research plan
  • Plan and conduct generative research, including contextual inquiry, qualitative surveys, interviews, and literature reviews (some travel expected)
  • Plan and conduct evaluative user research, including concept validation and usability tests
  • Write clear, impactful insights to communicate how participants think, feel, and behave – and explain why
  • Design and deliver research reports and readouts for a wide variety of internal partners
  • Develop behavioral archetypes, journey maps, or other visual deliverable
  • Translate user research findings into strategic and tactical recommendations

Your background

  • 3+ years of experience in UX Research
  • Passion for creating consumer-centered product designs and cross-functional team collaboration
  • Drive to constantly learn and explore new research and analysis methods
  • Expert in qualitative user experience research methods
  • Familiarity with quantitative research methods
  • Experience working in Agile software development process
  • Ability to develop and present research results to review with cross-functional stakeholders for review and feedback
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Design, Cognitive Science, Statistics, Psychology, HCI Human Factors, or equivalent experience

We can’t wait to learn more about you and meet you at Cohere Health!

Equal Opportunity Statement:

Cohere Health is an Equal Opportunity Employer. We are committed to fostering an environment of mutual respect where equal employment opportunities are available to all.  To us, it’s personal.

The salary range for this position is $120,000 to $130,000 annually; as part of a total benefits package which includes health insurance, 401k and bonus. In accordance with state applicable laws, Cohere is required to provide a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. Individual pay decisions are ultimately based on a number of factors, including but not limited to qualifications for the role, experience level, skillset, and internal alignment.
