NVIDIA is leading the way in groundbreaking developments in Artificial Intelligence, High-Performance Computing and Visualization. The GPU serves as the visual cortex of modern computers and is at the heart of our products and services. Our work opens up new universes to explore, enables amazing creativity and discovery, and powers what were once science fiction inventions from artificial intelligence to autonomous cars. NVIDIA is looking for phenomenal people like you to help us accelerate the next wave of artificial intelligence.

We are now looking for a UI/UX Designer to join our Hardware Infrastructure team! Our team is building tools and infrastructure used by engineering teams across the company to track, triage, debug, and understand complex development and data workflows. We seek a designer who can deeply understand customer needs and translate complex engineering processes into intuitive user experiences. They will help build the next generation of AI-enhanced internal tools! This role will focus on workflow design, customer interaction, product discovery, and high-quality UI/UX execution. You will work closely with engineers, architects, product owners, and end users to design practical, scalable experiences for systems that support critical engineering workflows.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Working with customers and engineering teams to understand workflows, problems, and opportunities for better user experiences.

  • Developing intuitive interfaces for complex web tooling systems, dashboards, data exploration tools, and operational workflows.

  • Crafting wireframes, prototypes, user flows, develop specifications, and high-fidelity designs in Figma.

  • Partnering with frontend engineers to implement and refine user experiences in Vue-based applications.

  • Designing AI-integrated workflows that help users summarize information, automate repetitive tasks, surface insights, and make better decisions.

  • Conducting user interviews, usability reviews, and feedback sessions with engineering clients and end-users.

  • Helping define design patterns, interaction models, and UX standards for internal platforms and applications.

  • Balancing user needs, technical constraints, and business priorities to produce practical, high-impact designs.

What we need to see:

  • BS degree or equivalent experience in Human-Computer Interaction, Design, Computer Science, or a related field.

  • 3+ years of relevant UI/UX, product design, or UX engineering experience.

  • Demonstrable experience crafting for web applications, dashboards, enterprise tools, or technical users, including the customer-focused research phase of development.

  • Strong Figma skills, including prototyping, component systems, design documentation, and collaboration workflows.

  • Experience working closely with software engineers and translating designs into production-quality user interfaces, including familiarity with Vue.js or modern frontend frameworks, with enough technical understanding to collaborate optimally with development teams.

Ways to stand out from the crowd:

  • Experience designing AI-powered user experiences, including assistants, recommendations, summarization, automation, or human-in-the-loop workflows. Please add a link to your portfolio if you have one.

  • Background working with engineering, infrastructure, hardware, data platform, or developer productivity teams.

  • Hands-on experience with Vue.js, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, or design-system implementation, as well as current AI tooling (ex. Cursor, Claude, Codex).

  • Good interpersonal skills, with experience gathering requirements directly from users and customers, and the ability to create quick prototypes or proof-of-concept UI implementations to validate design ideas.

  • Solid understanding of data visualization, information architecture, and interaction design for complex technical workflows, as well as the latest design trends and AI tools and how to apply them to design workflows.

NVIDIA offers highly competitive salaries and a comprehensive benefits package. We have some of the most brilliant and talented people in the world working for us and, due to unprecedented growth, our world-class engineering teams are growing fast. If you are a creative, customer-focused designer with a passion for building elegant workflows, practical AI-integrated experiences, and high-quality tools for engineers, we want to hear from you.
