About us
Job&Talent is a world-leading tech-enabled marketplace reshaping how temporary labor is sourced, managed, and experienced. Our mission is to make work more accessible, transparent, and efficient by connecting top talent with forward-thinking companies. Powered by an intuitive technology platform, we deliver customized solutions that help our clients navigate workforce challenges and scale their business with confidence.

Position overview:
We’re looking for an experienced and hands-on Vice President of Regional Sales to lead and scale a high-performance Regional Sales team, reporting to the Chief of Sales. This role is instrumental in capturing new business, growing revenue streams, and expanding our footprint across light industrial verticals,  including manufacturing, logistics, automotive, distribution, 3PL, and/or supply chain.

As a sales-focused leader, you will inspire and guide a team of Regional Sales Directors, providing strategic sales direction, coaching, and driving accountability for results. This is a “road warrior” role that requires a proven sales leader with expertise in light industrial staffing solutions or B2B/SaaS sales into light industrial clients, and the drive to help us grow across diverse U.S. markets.

Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop, implement, and continually optimize a regional sales strategy to drive new business and grow market share in target industries. Align tactics with company goals and regional business objectives.
- Sales Leadership: Recruit, mentor, and manage a team of Regional Sales Directors. Foster a culture of excellence through training, pipeline reviews, coaching, and hands-on involvement in key client engagements.
- Client Development: Strengthen existing client relationships while strategically expanding into new accounts. Partner with your team to offer customized light industrial staffing solutions that address client pain points.
- Business Development: Drive new client acquisition through a mix of proactive outreach, networking, industry event participation, and strong follow-up. Coach team members on proven strategies and support them in closing deals.
- Sales Presentations: Partner with your team to craft and deliver high-impact sales presentations and proposals that position Job&Talent as a trusted workforce partner.
- Market Insights: Stay ahead of light industrial market trends, competitive landscape, and regional economic indicators. Adjust strategies as needed to maximize regional performance.
- Forecasting & Reporting: Own regional sales KPIs and revenue goals. Maintain accurate forecasts and pipeline reports to senior leadership, identifying risks and mitigating shortfalls proactively.

Qualifications
- Proven experience leading regional, national, or enterprise sales teams in light industrial, B2B, or SaaS environments supporting manufacturing, logistics, distribution, 3PL, automotive, and/or supply chain industries.
- Deep expertise in new business development and consultative sales, with a hands-on, proactive leadership style.
- Strong coaching and team-building skills with a proven ability to develop talent and drive high performance.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills with a track record of building and maintaining long-term client relationships.
- Self-motivated, entrepreneurial, and results-driven with a strong sense of accountability.
- Willingness to travel as needed for team training, client meetings, and closing strategic deals.

Why You’ll Love This Role:
- Competitive base salary + lucrative commission structure.
- Opportunity to lead and shape sales strategy in a high-growth company.
- Leverage a robust technology platform and data-driven tools to streamline sales and enhance client solutions.
- Ability to make a direct impact on business outcomes while supporting regional teams to achieve their goals.
- Comprehensive benefits including health, dental, vision, 401(k) with match, flexible paid time off, sick time off, remote work, and company equity.

Host to the first telephone call and one of the first general-purpose computers ever put into use, Boston is now a hub for biotechnology, robotics and artificial intelligence — though it’s also home to several B2B software giants. So it’s no surprise that the city consistently ranks among the greatest startup ecosystems in the world.

Key Facts About Boston Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 269,000; 9.4% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Thermo Fisher Scientific, Toast, Klaviyo, HubSpot, DraftKings
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, biotechnology, robotics, software, aerospace
  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Summit Partners, Volition Capital, Bain Capital Ventures, MassVentures, Highland Capital Partners
  • Research Centers and Universities: MIT, Harvard University, Boston College, Tufts University, Boston University, Northeastern University, Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory, National Bureau of Economic Research, Broad Institute, Lowell Center for Space Science & Technology, National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories
