Job Description SummaryAs Modality Leader for Ultrasound you will be responsible for Post Sales support of customer issues. This can include providing through the team technical support to field service and customers or other service request.
Responsible for day to day departmental operations planning/execution for Ultrasound modality and is focused on execution of professional activities within a technical discipline such as End Of Product life Planning, Field Modifications, new product introductions etc.
Functions with some autonomy but guided by established policies or review of end results.
The job allows modification of procedures and practices covering work as long as the end results meet standards of acceptability (quality, volume, timeliness etc.).

Job DescriptionRoles and Responsibilities

  • Own the resolution of post-sales technical customer issues in Ultrasound modality. Provide management of Level 1,2,3 Technical Support – Resolve post sales Technical Issues. As the technical depth required to resolve an issue increases, the “level” of skill set increases. For some products 1 individual may handle levels 1,2 and 3 while for other products these may be separate individuals with increasing skill sets.
  • A job at this level requires a people leader with ability to hire and develop talent. Includes direct people management responsibility including staffing and performance development. Utilize in-depth knowledge of a technical discipline and analytical thinking and technical experience to execute policy/strategy.
  • Have knowledge of best practices and how own area integrates with others; your are aware of the competition and the factors that differentiate them in the market.
  • Use some judgment and have some ability to propose different solutions outside of set parameters to address more complicated manufacturing processes with technical variety and/or interdependent production cycles. Use technical experience and analytical thinking. Use multiple internal and limited external sources outside of own teams to arrive at decisions.
  • Act as a resource for colleagues with less experience. May lead small projects with low risks and resource requirements. Explain information; developing skills to bring team members to consensus around topics within field. Convey performance expectations and may handle sensitive issues.

Required Qualifications

  • This role requires advanced experience in the Services & Technical Support. Knowledge level is comparable to a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college ( or a high school diploma with relevant experience).

  • Strong oral and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems. Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs. Established project management skills.
  • Strong in depth use of Excel
  • Experience in Ultrasound modality
  • Customer focused with commercial facing experience
