Maintain and optimise a shipment tracking system.
Monitor inbound shipments from global suppliers (e.g., Netherlands, France, Germany).
Manage import processes and 3rd-party warehouse coordination.
Ensure timely resolution of inventory discrepancies
Track final-mile deliveries and proactively communicate delays to Customer Services.
Inventory and stock count management
Responsible for organizing and setting up the logistics processes as optimally as possible taking into consideration safety, quality, delivery reliability and cost efficiency.
Initiate and execute improvement or implementation projects aimed at the internal and external logistics processes, independently or through an active contribution to a project group.
Liaise with Quality Assurance, Customer Service, Shipping and Planning departments.
Fulfill a monitoring role when it comes to daily operations
Act as the primary point of contact for UK distribution-related queries.
Lead regular cross-functional logistics meetings.
Investigate delivery complaints and implement corrective actions with carriers.
Conduct supplier performance reviews and maintain KPI dashboards.
Represent department the in business meetings with partners
Investigate and report radiological incidents and damaged packages.
Maintain accurate logistics records in SAP and TrackWise.
Ensure all logistics SOPs and Work Instructions are current and aligned with regulatory standards.
Manage UK freight process improvement initiatives.
Provide ITC data and support to manufacturing sites.
Approve and reconcile carrier invoices.
Significant experience in pharmaceutical logistics or supply chain operations.
Strong knowledge of GDP, ADR, and import/export regulations.
Experience with SAP, TrackWise, and logistics tracking systems.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Analytical mindset with experience in KPI reporting and supplier performance.
