Job Description
As a U.S. Benefits Design and Strategy Vice President, you will be responsible for managing certain programs within the JPMC U.S. Medical Plan, evaluating strategic opportunities in the medical space, and acting as the Benefits representative in the firm's M&A transactions.

The JPMorgan Chase U.S. Benefits Design and Strategy team is responsible for evaluating, managing and implementing changes to various benefit programs (e.g., medical, dental, vision, , life insurance, long-term disability), monitoring plan performance, regulations and marketplace trends. The medical plan and wellness program is designed to meet the needs of over 180,000 U.S. employees and is recognized for its commitment to employee health and well-being. This is a full-time role based in Jersey City, NJ.

Job responsibilities
- Managing the day-to-day operations of certain programs within the JPMC U.S. Medical Plan. This includes managing designated vendors in areas such as program administration, program performance monitoring, process changes, digital/customer experience, member communications and escalated issues
- Evaluating strategic opportunities in the medical space, such as those that improve quality of care, access to care and member experience. This includes conducting research, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, defining success measures, and preparing materials for senior management review and approval
- Serving as the Benefits representative in the firm's M&A transactions, conducting due diligence and developing the benefits strategy for specific transactions
- Monitoring healthcare trends, regulations and marketplace developments
- Partnering with internal stakeholders including benefits delivery & customer service, wellness, communications, HR technology, IT security, legal, sourcing, product and Employee Experience
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Understanding of the healthcare marketplace and experience in vendor management
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, time sensitive environment
- Ability to multi-task, work independently, meet deadlines, and manage multiple deliverables
- Strong and effective verbal and written communication skills, including strong presentation skills and project management skills, with a high level of attention to detail
- Willingness and ability to innovate in order to drive fresh, unique approaches and solutions
- Experience working in a strategic, analytical or metric driven environment
- Solid knowledge of standard desktop applications such as MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel)
- Minimum 10 years in corporate benefits, benefits consulting or health plan/health insurance field
- Bachelor's degree required
