Job Description

PA is expanding its global transportation sector team and bringing new, innovative transit and aviation propositions to the US market. We are looking for a Consultant Analyst to join this growing team.

  • Transforming business and embedding change 

  • Strategy, transactions, restructuring and delivering value from investments  

  • Driving operational excellence to deliver more efficient and reliable services

  • Delivering technology-enabled asset management and passenger services  

Examples of the sort of assignments we deliver include: 

  • Undertaking program readiness assessments for large scale infrastructure programs 

  • Transforming ticketing for transit authorities through industry-leading smart ticketing solutions 

  • Setting the vision for data-led “intelligent” airports and supporting the end-to-end process  

  • Transforming the customer experience applying our unique total customer experience framework 

  • Developing ambitious sustainability and communication strategies for airports  

  • Saving airlines in the region of $1-$2M per aircraft thanks to our industry-leading engine maintenance cost optimization model.  

 

Qualifications

We are interested in hearing from consultants with two to five years relevant experience from within the transportation sector or management consultancies, and those with relevant master’s degrees. At PA, we believe that a brilliant transportation consultant is curious, enjoys exploring new ideas, and with sector knowledge, will be looking to evolve thinking and problem definition. 

We expect successful candidates to be able to demonstrate: 

  • An understanding of the transportation sector and its structures, specifically in transit/rail and/or aviation 

  • Exceptional problem solving and consulting skills (does not have to be for a consultancy) 

  • Experience designing and delivering projects / programs in a range of environments, including but not limited to Project Management Office and infrastructure delivery 

  • An ability to work with colleagues in a multi-disciplined team 

  • An ability to create / maintain an effective client network by nurturing key client relationships 

  • Familiarity with transport, transit, or rail planning, programming, and budgeting 

  • Excellent communication skills and confidence to work across all levels of a business

In compliance with Massachusetts Equal Pay Transparency Act, PA is required to provide a reasonable salary range for this role.  This salary range is specific to the State of Massachusetts and is commensurate with experience, market data, applicant skills, internal equity and/or degrees/certifications.  Massachusetts annual base range $93,000.00 - $113, 700.00.
