How You Will Contribute
- Coordinate Multi-functional Initiatives: Drive cross-functional programs like strategy deployment, eAGILE initiatives, risk management, and performance monitoring across the OpU.
- OpU Risk Coordinator: Execute the OpU/Region Risk Management program in collaboration with site representatives, Environmental Health & Safety (EHS), Ethics & Compliance (E&C), Product Operations, Global Quality, and other relevant functions.
- Lead Network Optimization and Integration: Serve as a key contributor in optimizing the manufacturing network and ensuring seamless execution of integration activities.
- Change Management Leadership: Develop change management plans and lead their execution, ensuring adoption and alignment across the region.
- Benchmarking and Continuous Improvement: Coordinate site assessments and benchmarking processes to uncover continuous improvement opportunities.
- Drive Digitalization and Amplify Processes: Collaborate with the Digital, Data & Technology (DD&T) teams and global Function of the Future groups to identify and implement opportunities for process digitalization and enhancement.
- Deliver Transformation Programs: Lead and execute targeted transformation projects, including Function of the Future implementations and Lean/Operational Excellence initiatives.
- Ensure Governance Alignment: Align strategy and operations with Strategic Business Excellence (SBE) and Plasma-Derived Therapies (PDT) governance structures to support effective risk mitigation planning and adherence to governance frameworks.
- Prepare and Support Business Reviews: Consolidate and prepare Operating Unit contributions for key processes such as Mid-Year Commitments (MYC), Monthly Resource Planning (MRP), and other strategic reviews.
Technical Dimensions
This role requires a breadth of technical and strategic expertise:
- Strategic Planning: Understand business drivers, customer needs, and market dynamics to create balanced strategic plans.
- Business Acumen: Possess a deep understanding of the pharmaceutical industry and processes, enabling collaboration with external groups like Human Resources, Finance, and Legal.
- Data Analytics Expertise: Utilize tools such as Management Action Plan (MAP), Business Intelligence (BI), and predictive/web analytics to drive insights and decision-making.

What You Bring to Takeda
We are seeking a results-driven leader with the following qualifications and skills:
- A Bachelor's degree in health sciences, engineering, or business is required.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in a regulated industry, with operational experience preferred.
- Strong analytical skills and proven experience leading large-scale transformations, with expertise in Lean methodologies and Six Sigma.
- Demonstrated ability to engage and manage global teams as well as diverse business partnerships.
- Familiarity with end-to-end business process management combined with budget planning and financial management capabilities.
- Exceptional communication skills, enabling effective interaction with executives, global teams, and external partners.
- Proven ability to connect strategic priorities with operational execution while fostering collaboration across functions and cultures.
