Description

The Transformation Office Program Manager plays a critical role in developing, overseeing, and managing large-scale transformation programs and initiatives across the organization. This position is responsible for coordinating cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment with strategic goals, and driving the successful execution of transformation projects to meet business objectives. The Program Manager will be accountable for the overall scoping, planning, delivery, timelines, budgets, and reporting of transformation programs, collaborating closely with senior leadership, business stakeholders, and project teams. 


Duties/Responsibilities:


Strategic Analysis & Planning: 

  • Support cost-benefit analysis of proposed transformation initiatives by coordinating with internal teams and external advisors (e.g., financial, legal, and operational) to gather and analyze relevant information. 
  • Perform financial, operational, and legal analysis to assess potential risks and opportunities. 
  • Help prepare cost-benefit reports and provide recommendations on mitigating risks and maximizing value. 

Program Management & Execution: 

  • Lead and manage multiple transformation initiatives from conception through execution, ensuring alignment with strategic business objectives. 
  • Develop detailed program plans, timelines, and budgets for each transformation initiative. 
  • Track and monitor program progress, identifying and addressing potential risks and issues in a proactive manner. 
  • Provide actionable insights based on data analysis to support decision-making by senior leadership. 
  • Facilitate effective decision-making through clear reporting and stakeholder communication. 

Cross-Functional Coordination: 

  • Work closely with senior leadership, business stakeholders, and other functional teams to ensure alignment on program goals and objectives. 
  • Build strong relationships with department heads, project managers, and functional leads to ensure the successful delivery of initiatives. 
  • Coordinate resources, timelines, and priorities across multiple teams, ensuring that dependencies are managed effectively. 

Change Management: 

  • Oversee the implementation of change management strategies to support the transition to new processes, systems, or ways of working. 
  • Engage with business leaders and employees to ensure successful adoption of change. 
  • Monitor and evaluate the impact of transformation initiatives on the organization and its culture. 

Risk Management & Issue Resolution: 

  • Identify program risks and develop mitigation strategies. 
  • Manage program issues and resolve roadblocks to ensure the successful execution of the program. 
  • Proactively report on program health and key milestones to senior leadership. 

Continuous Improvement: 

  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the organization. 
  • Identify opportunities to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of transformation programs and organizational processes. 
  • Gather feedback and lessons learned from completed programs to enhance future transformation efforts. 

Reporting & Communication: 

  • Provide regular updates to senior leadership and stakeholders on program status, key milestones, and any issues or challenges. 
  • Prepare executive-level presentations and reports, ensuring clear and concise communication of progress and results, with summarization of key findings and recommendations. 
  • Act as the central point of contact for all communication regarding program status, risks, and progress. 


Qualifications (Skills/Experience) 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field (MBA preferred). 
  • 8+ years of experience in program or project management, with a focus on transformation, change management, or organizational improvement. 
  • Proven experience managing large, complex programs, with cross-functional team coordination and executive-level reporting. 
  • Experience in a transformation office, business consulting, or similar roles is highly desirable. 
  • Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels. 
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making abilities. 
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines. 
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex ideas to diverse audiences. 
  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project) and other productivity software. 
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) or similar project management certifications preferred but not required.
