We are looking for a Transactions Counsel to own deal documentation across our investment strategies, working with internal colleagues to structure, negotiate, and document new investments. 


Responsibilities:

  • Negotiating and documenting a high volume of investment contracts across our legal assets strategies

  • Working with investment colleagues to achieve business goals, while managing legal risk.

  • Ability to multitask and handle many deals simultaneously.

  • Process orientated and able to evaluate and implement best practices across teams interacting with the legal function. 

Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate and law degrees, active bar admission

  • 5+ years experience of transactional experience; credit and secured transaction experience highly desirable.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Self-driven, results-oriented with a positive outlook and a clear focus on high quality work product.

  • Practical and commercial, able to prioritize business objectives while achieving legal goals.

  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.

  • Comfort working across functions while being a “team of one.”

  • Prior sales experience is a strong plus.
