The Training Specialist is responsible for developing and delivering high quality geospatial, imagery analysis, and product curriculums and trainings that enables customers to effectively use Vantor solutions. This role supports international customers by improving product adoption, building technical proficiency, and accelerating time to value through structured training programs, applied use cases, and analyst-driven tradecraft informed by real-world operational and military imagery analysis experience. This position will also assist in providing geospatial analysis for production.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver instructor-led training on geospatial and imagery analysis concepts, tradecraft, and best practices.

  • Develop and deliver product-specific training for Vantor solutions, including analytical workflows, configuration, and use-case-driven demonstrations rooted in real-world operational scenarios.

  • Create and maintain a structured, progressive training curriculum that develops analyst proficiency from foundational skills through advanced exploitation, analysis, and reporting.

  • Produce training materials such as presentations, exercises, labs, reference guides, and scenario-based practical evaluations.

  • Apply imagery analysis methodologies and standards to training content, emphasizing analytical rigor, repeatable workflows, and defensible assessments.

  • Tailor training content to customer missions, industries, and technical environments, with a focus on operational relevance and mission outcomes.

  • Deliver training in person and remotely for international customers, including classroom instruction, hands-on labs, and applied mission exercises.

  • Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, and Sales teams to ensure training content remains accurate, relevant, and aligned with evolving product capabilities.

  • Collect feedback and continuously improve training programs based on customer outcomes, product evolution, and observed analyst performance.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to validate findings and integrate technical inputs into final deliverables.

Requirements and Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in geospatial science, geography, engineering, computer science, intelligence studies, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

  • 5 years of experience

  • Proven experience delivering technical, analytical, or professional training to external customers or internal teams.

  • Strong understanding of geospatial and imagery analysis concepts, tradecraft, and analytical workflows.

  • Hands-on experience with geospatial tools, platforms, or imagery-based analysis solutions.

  • Ability to translate complex technical and analytical concepts into clear, practical, and mission-focused training.

  • Experience developing structured training materials, labs, learning paths, and practical exercises.

  • Strong presentation, facilitation, and communication skills.

  • Comfortable delivering training in both in-person and remote environments.

  • Ability to work directly with international customers and adapt content to different operational and mission contexts.

  • Strong collaboration skills with Product, Engineering, Customer Success, and Services teams.

  • Willingness and ability to travel internationally as required.

  • Self-directed, organized, and capable of managing multiple training engagements simultaneously.

  • Must report physically to the Tampa, FL, Herndon, VA, or Westminster, CO office.

Preferred

  • Formal training as an imagery analyst (e.g., graduation from a military or government imagery analysis course).

  • Prior service as an imagery analyst within a military or government organization (any country), particularly in operational or deployed environments.

  • Experience conducting imagery-based analysis in support of real-world missions or operational customers.

  • Experience developing, instructing, mentoring, or evaluating analysts.

  • Prior service in a leadership role, non-commissioned / commissioned officer.

  • Experience serving as a formal instructor, trainer, or course developer within a military, government, or intelligence organization.

  • Familiarity with analyst training standards, tradecraft evaluation, and performance assessment methodologies.

Pay Transparency: In support of pay transparency at Vantor, we disclose salary ranges on all U.S. job postings.  The successful candidate’s starting pay will fall within the salary range provided below and is determined based on job-related factors, including, but not limited to, the experience, qualifications, knowledge, skills, geographic work location, and market conditions. Candidates with the minimum necessary experience, qualifications, knowledge, and skillsets for the position should not expect to receive the upper end of the pay range.

● The base pay for this position within Colorado is: $90,000.00 - $150,000.00 annually. ● The base pay for this position within the Washington, DC metropolitan area is: $99,000.00 - $165,000.00 annually.

For all other states, we use geographic cost of labor as an input to develop market-driven ranges for our roles, and as such, each location where we hire may have a different range.
