This job is essential to Bank operations and will be an onsite role.
 

Job Summary:

This position is responsible for training new hires and cross-training current employees within Cash Services.  The candidate will be expected to develop and maintain training plans for the entire department and to track progress to completion.  The candidate will also manage procedural updates and policy changes when appropriate and ensure those policies are attested to annually and when there are updates.  This person will report to the Compliance and Training Manager in Cash Services. 

Principal Accountabilities:

  • Coordinate and facilitate new hire orientation and training.
  • Develop, organize and conduct training programs to address local Cash Services needs and requirements (i.e. process and procedures, controls, manual balancing, etc.) as well as other stakeholder requirements (FedCash Services, Board of Governors, Treasury).
  • Work closely with different units to customize training programs and continuously revise the curriculum to ensure that it remains relevant and impactful.
  • Facilitate training through a variety of delivery methods including classroom instruction, on-line training, and on-the-job coaching.
  • Maintain and update department procedures as needed.
  • Responsible for tracking and completion status for individual training plans and FedLearn classes. 
  • Review and update existing training and evaluation materials.
  • Maintain a strong working knowledge of Cash procedures and controls; be supportive of management and Bank policies.

Other Accountabilities:

  • Help track ideas which been presented by the employees through the Idea Board.
     

Supervision:

  • This position is not required to directly supervise others but does include a mentoring/coaching role.

Knowledge and Experience:

  • Knowledge and experience normally acquired through, or equivalent to, the completion of an Associate’s degree and/or a minimum of 1-5 years of Cash Services job-related experience.
  • Knowledge of MS Office and Web products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Vizio, and SharePoint.
  • Organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Self-motivated and ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.
  • Ability to perform role with minimal supervision, capable of exercising good judgment, and proficient at resolving routine problems independently.
