About the Role

ELB Learning is seeking experienced Training Facilitators to support a large-scale federal enterprise technology implementation. The program will transition approximately 25,000 users to a new Construction Management Platform across more than 1,700 instructor-led training sessions.

Facilitators will initially support four courses, with opportunities to take on additional courses and assignments as the program progresses. Learners will range from executives and project managers to engineers, general users, and external contractors.

This is a software training role, not a general soft-skills facilitation position. You will learn a specific enterprise platform and teach users how to apply it effectively in their day-to-day work.

Schedule & Travel
  • Onboarding and Train-the-Trainer: Mid-November through early December 2026

  • Domestic delivery: Begins January 2027

  • Overseas delivery: March through August 2027

  • Training will be delivered primarily virtually, with both domestic and international in-person assignments.

  • Overseas assignments will typically be multi-week rotations rather than individual trips.

  • Must have a valid passport and be able to obtain required installation/site access.

What You'll Do
  • Deliver instructor-led training virtually and in person to technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Teach users how to navigate and effectively use the new enterprise software platform.

  • Conduct software demonstrations, hands-on exercises, and guided activities.

  • Answer learner questions and troubleshoot issues during training.

  • Prepare for each session by reviewing materials and validating the training environment.

  • Follow approved facilitator guides, lesson plans, and training standards while adapting your delivery to the audience.

  • Track attendance and support required completion and evaluation processes.

  • Complete Train-the-Trainer requirements and stay current as the platform evolves.

  • Support additional training waves, schedule changes, and backup assignments as needed.

  • Maintain a high level of confidence and platform knowledge so you can handle unscripted learner questions.

Required Qualifications

Candidates must meet one of the following:

Option 1

  • Professional certification in adult learning or training, such as CPTM, CPTD, or an equivalent credential, plus

  • At least 3 years of experience delivering adult training.

Option 2

  • At least 5 years of experience facilitating adult training, with a demonstrated history of effectiveness supported by documented evaluations, learner feedback, or other measurable results.

Preferred Experience

The following experience is highly relevant:

  • Training users on enterprise software or technology platforms.

  • Construction Management Platforms or other construction-related enterprise software.

  • Large-scale software implementations, system rollouts, or organizational technology transformations.

  • Construction, engineering, project management, or AEC environments.

  • Federal, government, or other large enterprise audiences.

  • Virtual facilitation using Microsoft Teams, including screen sharing, breakout rooms, polls, and other interactive features.

  • Experience working with diverse audiences, from leadership and project managers to technical users and contractors.

What We're Looking For

You don't need prior experience with the specific platform you'll be teaching. However, you should be comfortable learning complex software quickly and becoming confident enough to teach it to others.

The strongest facilitators will be able to:

  • Learn and retain new software functionality quickly.

  • Explain technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Lead structured training while responding naturally to questions and unexpected situations.

  • Create an engaging learning environment in both virtual and in-person settings.

  • Adapt their delivery without losing sight of the approved curriculum.

  • Travel domestically and internationally as required by the program.

Important Note

This is not a train-the-trainer development role and not a soft-skills facilitation position. You will be responsible for teaching a specific enterprise software platform to people who need to use it in their jobs.

You will receive training on the platform and complete the required Train-the-Trainer program. Prior experience with this specific platform is not required. What matters is your ability to quickly learn a new system, understand how it works, and confidently teach it to others.
