As a Territory Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing a strategic territory plan for the sale of Non-destructive testing systems to customers in key segments including Aerospace, Defense, Automotive & Electric Vehicles, Additive Manufacturing, Medical Devices and Electronics.
 

As a Territory Sales Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Selling product(s) and services including system upgrades, service contracts and inspection services within assigned geographical area.
  • Developing a pipeline by having a clear understanding of sales processes and stages.
  • Forecasting of system and service sales to the region director including weekly deal and pipeline reviews.
  • Managing CRM (Deal Machine) to ensure accuracy of forecast to the business.
  • Traveling throughout the territory to manage installed base, developing new opportunities and managing customer relationships.
  • Working with Application Engineers to qualify the opportunity, developing deal strategies and becoming the technical solution of choice for the customer.
  • Driving deals to closure including quoting, negotiation and OTR (Order to Remittance) handoff.

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college OR a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Possess experience in key strategic segments: Avionics, Electronics, Space and Defense, and Automotive/Electric Vehicles.
  • Have up to 5 years of experience in Non-Destructive Testing (NDT).
  • Possess Capital Sales Experience with Deal Values greater than $750,000 USD
  • Have a minimum of 3 additional years of experience in sales.
  • Be able to travel 50%-70% of the time.
  • Demonstrate strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Ability to manage several sales opportunities simultaneously.
