Job Description Summary:

Fenwick is seeking a detail-oriented temporary team member to assist with developing pages for our new intranet. This role will support the migration, organization, and ongoing maintenance of our SharePoint-based site to present content in an accessible and well-structured manner. This team member will actively collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure information is accurate for each set of pages. This position is full time can be based in any of our U.S. office locations and some remote locations.

Job Description:

  • Build, format, and publish new intranet pages within SharePoint
  • Collaborate with team representatives to gather, clarify, and organize content for their pages
  • Update pages to ensure content accuracy and consistency
  • Apply basic SharePoint coding to enhance functionality and presentation
  • Ensure content adheres to branding, style, accessibility, and governance standards
  • Perform quality checks to maintain consistency, usability, and accuracy across pages
  • Track updates and manage shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • In conjunction with project lead, accurately document identified issues for resolution with external developers. Document for future reference the appropriate troubleshooting steps and implement solutions for end users who will maintain the pages following the project conclusion.
  • Recommend to project team improvements to page structure, navigation, and user experience based on their experience or based on feedback from other stakeholders. 
  • Comfort working alongside AI tools and a curiosity to continuously learn and adopt new ways of working as technology evolves.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
  • Experience building and maintaining SharePoint online pages
  • Basic SharePoint maintenance skills including basic HTML/CSS for dynamic content delivery and familiarity with SharePoint web parts and page customization
  • Sound judgment and ability to handle sensitive or confidential information appropriately
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing needs while meeting deadlines
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Proactive problem solver with a curiosity to learn new features and the initiative to figure things out independently

Reporting to the Internal Communications Manager, the ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience working within a law firm or professional services environment in a similar capacity. Familiarity with intranet governance and content lifecycle management as well as understanding of document management best practices strongly preferred. Degree, certification, or measurable experience in educational technology, instructional design, or a related field required.

The anticipated range for this position is:

$76,000 - $107,500

Depending on the role, the actual base salary offered may depend upon a variety of factors, including without limitation, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.

A discretionary bonus for eligible employees may also be available based on performance.  Additional information about employee eligibility for benefits and discretionary bonus will be made available upon request.
