Temporary Senior Business Analyst – Financial Crimes Technology

The Financial Crimes Technology (FCT) group, part of the Non-Financial Risk Technology (NFRT) organization, is seeking a Temporary Senior Business Analyst to support project-based delivery of technology solutions for the firm’s Global Financial Crimes (GFC) division. This contract role will focus on initiatives such as transaction monitoring, customer activity reviews, and scenario optimization, ensuring that solutions meet regulatory expectations while enabling innovation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with stakeholders to capture business needs and translate them into technology requirements.

  • Develop requirements and design documentation under Agile/SCRUM practices.

  • Perform data analysis to support development activities and business decisions.

  • Define and oversee data quality controls for financial crime applications.

  • Contribute to testing efforts to validate and approve solutions.

  • Collaborate with global FCT/NFRT teams and assist in preparing platform documentation.

Required Skills
  • 5+ years of Business Analyst experience, with exposure to AML/financial crimes projects.

  • Strong SQL (DB2) skills.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Desired Skills
  • Familiarity with Actimize/ACTONE platform.

  • Knowledge of Behavior-Driven Development (BDD).

  • Scrum certification preferred.

At RSM, an employee’s pay at any point in their career is intended to reflect their experiences, performance, and skills for their current role. The salary range (or starting rate for interns and associates) for this role represents numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including, but not limited to, education, skills, work experience, certifications, location, etc. As such, pay for the successful candidate(s) could fall anywhere within the stated range.

Compensation Range: $44 - $66 per hour
