Job Description:
POSITION SUMMARY
Under the direction of the Associate Director for Training and Communications, the Temporary Content Migration and Training Assistant is responsible for updating content on ITS webpages in preparation for the Berklee-wide site redesign, transferring content from berklee.edu to the ITS Help Center knowledge base, creating and organizing training materials for the Workday Student project, tracking training participation, and proofreading student communications. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and writing skills, strong organizational abilities, and proficiency in Google Workspace and Drupal.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Functional/Technical:
- Work closely with the Associate Director to review and update content on the ITS webpages on berklee.edu.
- Assist in transferring content from berklee.edu to the ITS Help Center knowledge base, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
- Maintain content accuracy within the ITS Help Center.
- Support administrative tasks related to training, such as creating and organizing materials and tracking participation.
- Edit and proofread student communications, including emails, announcements, and other materials upon request.
- Assist the Associate Director with special ad hoc projects.
Teamwork:
- Promote a positive and professional work environment.
- Participate actively and knowledgeably in articulating project status and interactions with team members.
- Work cooperatively with ITS and TTS team members, SMEs, and project managers to ensure that correct content and documentation are presented on our sites.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
- Strong decision-making and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and writing skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with others and to take direction on tasks.
- Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and complete tasks on time.
- Proficiency in the Google Workspace suite, i.e., Google Docs, Google Sheets, and Gmail.
- Proficiency in Atlassian Confluence.
- Proficiency in teleconferencing tools, i.e., Zoom.
Preferred Skills and Knowledge:
- Knowledge of content management systems, i.e., Drupal.
- Knowledge of the Apple Mac OS operating system.
- Knowledge of Workday.
Hiring Range:
