Summary

The Technology Program Quality Analyst (Automation & Data Focus) supports the development and execution of technology-enabled quality systems across In-Clinic and Pharmacy Quality & Regulatory Operations.

This role focuses on data structuring, process standardization, and signal analysis to enable automation and consistent decision-making across quality workflows. The Analyst partners closely with the Quality Systems Engineer to translate real-world quality events (e.g., complaints, nonconformances, supplier issues) into structured inputs, standardized classifications, and actionable insights. This role reports the Quality and Regulatory Systems Manager.

This position plays a critical role in building the foundation for scalable, data-driven quality systems by improving how information is captured, organized, and used.

Responsibilities

Data Structuring & Intake Standardization (Core Focus)

  • Design, build, and deploy automated workflows and decision logic across quality processes using low-code platforms (e.g., Power Automate, Salesforce Flow) and AI-assisted tools.
  • Support the design and refinement of standardized intake models for:

- Complaints

- Adverse events

- Nonconformances

- Supplier quality events

  • Ensure incoming data is:

- Complete

- Consistent

- Structured for downstream automation and analysis

  • Identify gaps in intake quality and work with stakeholders to improve data capture practices.

Signal Detection & Analysis

  • Monitor quality data streams to identify:

- Trends

- Recurring issues

- Emerging risks

  • Perform structured analysis of:

- Complaint patterns

- CAPA effectiveness

- Supplier performance signals

  • Support development of early signal detection frameworks (e.g., recurring issue triggers, threshold-based alerts).

Workflow & Process Support

  • Assist in translating quality processes into clear, structured workflows and decision paths.
  • Support the development and testing of:

- Decision trees

- Classification logic

- Standardized language frameworks

  • Partner with the Engineer to validate that workflows reflect real-world operations.

Reporting & Visualization

  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports that provide:

- Clear visibility into quality metrics

- Actionable insights for leadership

  • Support Management Review reporting by ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
  • Help define and track key metrics such as:

- Complaint trends

- CAPA timeliness and recurrence

- Supplier defect rates

- Training and document control signals

Quality Operations Support

  • Support investigations by:

- Gathering and organizing relevant data

- Identifying patterns and contributing factors

  • Assist in maintaining data integrity across QMS and related systems.
  • Support recall, supplier quality, and compliance-related data activities as needed.

Collaboration & Continuous Improvement

  • Work cross-functionally with Quality, IT, and Operations teams to improve data quality and process consistency.
  • Provide input on opportunities to improve workflows and reduce variability.
  • Support training efforts related to standardized intake, data usage, and reporting.

Required Knowledge and Skills

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to structure ambiguous information into clear, usable formats.
  • Experience working with data in Excel or similar tools (data cleaning, organization, basic analysis).
  • Ability to identify patterns, trends, and inconsistencies in data.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy and integrity.
  • Ability to follow and help enforce standardized processes and data structures.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work across technical and non-technical teams.
  • Curiosity and interest in automation, AI tools, and improving how work gets done.
  • Basic familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) preferred.
  • Exposure to Quality Management Systems (QMS) or regulated environments preferred.

Preferred

  • Experience in pharmaceuticals, healthcare, or regulated environments
  • Exposure to complaint handling, CAPA, or supplier quality processes
  • Familiarity with Salesforce or similar systems
  • Basic exposure to automation tools (e.g., Power Automate)
  • Lean Six Sigma or process improvement training (a plus)

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Business, Science, Engineering, Data Analytics, or similar)
  • 1–3 years of experience in:

- Data analysis

- Quality operations

- Process support roles

- Or equivalent combination of education and experience

Salary may vary depending on factors such as confirmed job-related skills, experience, and location. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each case. Sales Positions are eligible for a Variable Incentive.

The pay range for this position is as follows:

$46,400-$61,800
