Job Summary
The Technology Procurement Specialist plays a critical role across Procurement, IT, and Engineering by optimizing technology value, reducing costs, and modernizing sourcing processes. This role manages relationships between internal stakeholders and external vendors, ensuring effective contracting for hardware, software, and services. It also involves administering vendor contracts, providing market insights, and advising on procurement strategies and negotiations. The ideal candidate is highly skilled in technology sourcing and contract negotiation to handle escalations and support future technology planning.

This position offers a total compensation range of $88,800.00 to $98,800.00 (inclusive of base salary and variable compensation, such as bonuses and incentives). Actual compensation will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors, such as a candidate's location, skills, experience, and qualifications.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Run technology sourcing events (RFx, sole supplier engagements, benchmarking) and negotiate complex contracts for IT and Engineering
- Drive clear, market-aligned requirements through vendor and industry insights, and guide cross-functional sourcing teams.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for vendor communications, ensuring clarity and strategic leverage.
- Manage end-to-end sourcing processes and contract negotiations within tight timelines, balancing speed, cost, and quality.
- Oversee supplier due diligence, performance monitoring, invoice tracking, and timely payment in alignment with negotiated terms.
- Collaborate with IT, Engineering, and Finance on budget alignment, purchase order creation, tracking, and reconciliation.
- Support IT in inventory management, hardware/software provisioning, and new team member onboarding processes.
- Drive continuous process improvement, contribute to KPI development, and educate stakeholders on procurement best practices.
- Other duties as assigned and required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of experience in IT or technology sourcing, preferably with exposure to infrastructure, SaaS, and cloud technologies.
- Proven expertise in contract negotiation, project management, stakeholder engagement, and process improvement.
- Excellent strategic thinking, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence across global organizations.
- Self-driven, data-analytical, and adaptable in agile environments, with solid business and IT acumen.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, SAP or major ERP systems, and well-versed in IT contracts, commercial terms, and risk mitigation strategies.
