Job Responsibilities:
JOB SUMMARY: Provides technical support to set-up personnel, manufacturing, and engineering in all phases of manufacturing. Participates in continuous improvement activities to improve OEE (overall equipment effectiveness) metrics through downtime reduction, cycle time reduction, scrap reduction, and improved efficiency. Troubleshoots, identifies, implements, and maintains controls systems throughout the plant. Conducts manufacturing process verification. Develops work standards for current tools, machines, and equipment and maintains accurate records. Provides training/work direction to other staff. Assists with PM's and performs other duties as necessary.
REQUIREMENTS :B.S. Degree in area of Manufacturing/Electrical Engineering Technology preferred or a minimum of 3 years' experience troubleshooting PLCs, Vision Systems, Robotics, and/or Servo Systems. Experience with the following manufacturers is preferred: Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Fanuc, Denso, Cognex, Keyence, GVI, Yaskawa, Bekhoff, and Wago. Demonstrated ability to establish communication with all controls systems in area of responsibility for troubleshooting and programming purposes.
