We are looking for a highly motivated Technical Training Specialist to join our Global Commercial Operations team on a nine-month contract.

This role will support the training and development of our internal Technical Support teams, helping employees build the knowledge and confidence needed to support new products, workflows, and processes. The successful candidate will combine a strong scientific foundation with excellent communication and instructional design skills.

You will work closely with scientific and product subject-matter experts to translate complex technical information into clear, engaging, and practical learning experiences. This may include virtual training, instructor-led sessions, onboarding materials, product-readiness content, reference resources, and learner assessments.

The Details

Reporting to the Associate Director, you will support the development and delivery of technical training for internal teams across the organization.

This is not a traditional customer-facing Technical Support position. Your primary customers will be the employees who support our external customers. Your work will help ensure that Technical Support staff can clearly explain products and workflows, troubleshoot common issues, and escalate more complex enquiries appropriately.

  • Partner with scientific, product, applications, and support teams
  • Create presentations, guides, job aids, and assessments

  • Update existing materials based on product changes and learner feedback
  • Manage multiple projects and stakeholder reviews

What We’re Looking For

  • M.S. or Ph.D. in life sciences or a related field preferred
  • Strong knowledge of molecular biology, genetics, cell biology, genomics, or related areas
  • Experience creating or delivering technical or scientific training
  • Excellent writing, presentation, and communication skills
  • Ability to work with subject-matter experts and simplify complex information
  • Strong organization and project-management skills
  • Experience in technical support, applications, instructional design, scientific education, or product training would be beneficial.
