In this role, you will be the bridge between complex technical issues and real-world solutions, directly impacting the efficiency of global supply chains. You’ll have the unique opportunity to interface with developers and project managers across multiple global locations, gaining exposure to a wide range of cutting-edge technologies while ensuring our transportation tools remain world-class.

Key Exciting Responsibilities

  • Master Complex Problem-Solving: Conduct in-depth troubleshooting and research into Trimble’s Transportation Management System (TMS) to resolve high-impact hardware and software issues.

  • Drive Product Innovation: Identify and report software bugs and usability trends, directly influencing the quality and capabilities of future product releases.

  • Deliver Exceptional Experiences: Provide high-level technical support via phone, email, and chat, translating technical concepts into actionable solutions for a diverse global audience.

  • Collaborate Globally: Partner with cross-functional teams including developers, testers, and project managers to maintain visibility on critical ongoing issues.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Proven Technical Aptitude: Demonstrated success in root cause analysis and troubleshooting complex systems across multiple operating systems like Windows, Linux, and Android.

  • Database & Scripting Knowledge: Hands-on experience using and troubleshooting SQL, XML, HTML, and scripting languages.

  • Adaptive Communication: Exceptional ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a technology-related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Bonus Points For:

  • Experience writing bug tickets in Jira and understanding of Web Services and APIs (REST & SOAP).

  • Familiarity with modern programming frameworks like Android, Angular, or React.

  • Prior operations experience within the transportation or logistics industry.

Compensation:  Trimble provides the following compensation range and general description of other compensation and benefits that it in good faith believes it might pay and/or offer for this position. This compensation range is based on a full time schedule. Trimble reserves the right to ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and offer additional benefits and other compensation, depending on circumstances not related to an applicant’s sex or other status protected by local, state, or federal law.
