Who We Are:

We deploy powerful AI agents in complex, regulated industries, specializing in building the systems that enable autonomous agents to operate entire functions securely and reliably. Our belief is that people should be free of administrative and operational drudgery so they can create value through creativity, reasoning, and judgement.

We’re starting in higher education, a sector with ~$700B in expenses defined by heavy workflows across departments, such as admissions, financial aid, facilities, advising, student services, advancement, and more. Our agents are already embedded across these departments, interacting with millions of students and staff. They process applications, package aid, resolve verification issues, run large-scale communication workflows, handle student support tickets, and more.

We believe that universities are among the most consequential institutions in the world, sitting at the foundation of social and economic progress. Improving how they operate improves who gets educated, who gets supported, and who gets a chance. When higher education runs better, everything built on top of it does too.

About The Role

This position is a contract role, with eligibility for full-time employment contingent on performance and organizational needs.

We are seeking a driven and creative Technical Sourcer to support our talent acquisition efforts at CollegeVine. In this role, you will play a critical part in scaling our engineering organization, supporting an ambitious goal to double the team in H1. You will be responsible for identifying, engaging, and attracting technical talent while building and maintaining a healthy, diverse pipeline to meet our hiring goals.

Responsibilities:
  • Partner closely with Recruiters and Hiring Managers to understand role requirements, technical profiles, and hiring priorities

  • Design and execute top-of-funnel sourcing strategies across multiple channels that consistently generate a high-quality pipeline, targeting 4-7 converted candidates per role per week

  • Manage a backlog of sourcing experiments across existing and emerging channels, running tests, tracking outcomes, and operationalizing successful approaches

  • Proactively engage candidates where they are - not just professional networks but also social platforms, online forums, technical communities, and relevant professional organizations

  • Build and maintain relationships with industry partners, networks, and employee referral sources to identify and attract passive and active technical talent

  • Develop and deliver compelling, personalized outreach that reflects CollegeVine’s employer brand, engineering culture, and mission

  • Conduct initial candidate screens to assess technical alignment, career goals, motivations, compensation expectations, and potential concerns, ensuring a strong and efficient handoff into pipeline

  • Own the accuracy and health of sourcing pipelines in Ashby

  • Track, analyze, and report on sourcing metrics, using insights to continuously refine sourcing strategies and improve outcomes

What We’re Looking For:
  • Previous experience as a technical sourcer or recruiter

  • Hands-on experience with diverse sourcing techniques, including experimentation with new channels

  • Strong ability to engage talent through social media, digital communities, and professional networks

  • Experience conducting initial candidate screens

  • Excellent communication and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment

CollegeVine partners with 200+ universities, deploying agentic AI to power campus operations. We have raised venture funding from dedicated investors such as Menlo Ventures (Anthropic, Carta), Silversmith Capital Partners (Webflow, Formstack), Morningside Technology Ventures (Xiaomi, TikTok), and more. In 2020, after years of being a remote-friendly company, CollegeVine became a fully remote company (with a NYC office) with a diverse cast of team members based predominantly in the United States, but also around the world.
