Position Summary: Are you a Technical Solutions Project Lead looking to make a significant contribution to a growing Apkudo team and own the solution creation to scale Apkudo business? 

In this role, you are an integral part of the Technical Solutions Team including the Sales process working with every pursuit, outlining the customer needs, value case, and running POCs., you will drive cross-functional collaboration between technical teams and business goals by designing, managing, and implementing technical solutions to meet client or company needs. The Technical Solutions Project lead sits at the center of customer needs, Solution delivery, and Product roadmap and development. Your primary responsibility is to understand customer workflows, document clear business and technical requirements, and ensure alignment between customer needs and the Apkudo Platform and Solutions.

You will partner closely with Product Management to validate whether requirements are additions to the roadmap or customer-specific requests and provide structured context from customers.  This role is a critical connective role ensuring customer requirements translate correctly into scalable product decisions.

What you’ll do: Our days and duties can vary. In this role, you will primarily be responsible for the following duties:

Project Management

  • Be the primary Apkudo contact, own and manage the end-to-end project lifecycle, including scoping, planning, SOW deliverables, budgets, execution, and reporting on the status of assigned implementation projects including SAT process and signoff.

Technical Implementation

  • Provide technical resource support (hands-on when necessary), including configuration, data triage, and customization to ensure solutions are set up correctly and data issues are resolved.

Communication and Collaboration

  • Translate complex technical information into clear, accessible narratives for both technical and non-technical stakeholders including the flagging of risks and mitigation of the identified risks. Also collaborate with customer success teams, sales, and other departments to ensure alignment and customer satisfaction.

Problem-Solving and Quality Assurance

  • Act as a technical expert, help triage issues, and collaborate with product teams to improve the product based on partner feedback and challenges.

Solution Design and Strategy:

  • Understand client needs and work with product and engineering teams to define the technical roadmap, feasibility, and overall delivery strategy for solution deployments (for existing and upcoming product solutions and roadmap).

  • Understand and document business workflows, success criteria for the customer, act as the context provider for new capability requests to enhance the reverse logistic process for our connected-device customers.

Product Mindset vs Custom Solution:

  • Drive core product messaging and positioning as necessary vs designing a custom solution.

    • Advance unique solutions and move beyond the current state supply chain leveraging our platform and robotic automation to provide better decision-making abilities to our clients – think beyond “what is” to “what might be”

What you’ll need: We come together to deliver for each other and our customers, and we know there are many paths to performing well. That having been said, we rely on you to come up to speed fast and deliver great work without too much guidance, so we think it would be hard to do that without:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or another relevant field. A Master's degree is a plus. 

    • Strong technical background, with experience in building scalable platforms or services.

  • 8+ years of overall progressive experience including 5+ years of progressive product/technical account management experience (ideally in the supply-chain sector including warehouse and inventory management)

  • Strong project management, organization, and documentation skills, ability to capture business flows and technical requirements.

    • Experience with project management tools and methodologies e.g. Agile.

    • Proficiency in Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) related to the design, development, integration, testing, and management 

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to diagnose needs, ask the right questions, and provide feedback.

    • Strategic thinking and the ability to align technical solutions with business objectives. Willingness to think beyond conventional limitations and create disruptive solutions

  • Demonstrated success bringing new mobile/tech/SaaS customer-facing products or services to market by driving requirements through development team(s) using an iterative process

  • Highly self-motivated and a self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit

  • Experience with mobile/connected devices is highly desirable
