We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Technical Solutions Operations Engineer (TSOE) to support the global Technical Solutions (TS) organization, building and maintaining our internal tooling and workflows.

Datadog’s TS org is composed of 1,000+ customer-facing technical experts around the world. From Sales Engineers and Technical Account Managers to Support Engineers and Implementation Specialists, TS works with prospects and customers throughout their Datadog journey to deliver outstanding customer experiences and drive growth through rapid product adoption.

What You’ll Do:

  • Design and oversee the implementation of technology tools & systems (Zendesk, Jira, Assembled, AWS, etc.) that enable TS teams to efficiently and effectively achieve their KPIs and strategic goals.
  • Develop and maintain system architecture diagrams, data flow diagrams, process maps, and other documentation to ensure our technology systems are well-designed and efficient.
  • Clarify requirements whenever necessary, then evaluate and recommend technology solutions that best meet our business objectives.
  • Work a hybrid model of 3-5 days in office per week. 

Who You Are:

  • Education in Computer Science or Information Systems, or equivalent technical background and work experience
  • 2+ years of experience in Business Systems Engineering or Operations, with 1+ year experience in Zendesk, Salesforce or a similar CRM platform
  • Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, Java or any other object-oriented programming language
  • The following experience is a strong plus:
    • Proficient in JIRA and a Workforce Management platform
    • Experienced in supporting Sales Engineering and Technical Professional Services teams
  • Proven ability to learn & manage different technologies and systems
  • Interested in problem solving and you enjoy automating processes
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and have a desire for continuous learning
  • A critical thinker who defaults to a client-centric approach
  • A thorough and effective communicator who takes pride in your meticulous documentation

Datadog offers a competitive salary and equity package, and may include variable compensation. Actual compensation is based on factors such as the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience. $86,250$126,500 USD
