Job Summary
Centric Software is seeking a Technical Solutions Architect to join our global Planning & Pricing team. This is a non-customer-facing role focused on enabling presales and delivery teams by designing, building, and optimizing the technical components of our planning solution. You’ll be a critical behind-the-scenes force, translating opportunity requirements into scalable configurations, creating demo environments, and helping our go-to-market teams shine.
Ideal for someone coming from post-sales, delivery, or implementation who enjoys deep technical work, this role is all about building from the inside—no early-morning customer calls or presentations required. Our Planning platform is first-generation and evolving, so we need someone who’s both resourceful and excited about crafting solutions in a dynamic, high-growth environment.
You’ll be part of a global team of passionate problem-solvers supporting major transformation projects across the fashion and retail industries.

Job Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with presales and product teams to analyze opportunity documentation, identify product gaps, and translate requirements into technical configurations
  • Design and configure solution prototypes and internal demo environments to support sales and delivery teams
  • Provide technical assessments of feasibility, documenting what the platform currently supports and what needs to be built
  • Create and maintain internal solution documentation such as technical specifications, scope statements, and use case documents
  • Build and validate solution components within internal test environments for scale and functionality
  • Support the creation of RFP/RFI responses and other sales documentation with technical detail
  • Drive the creation and improvement of internal configuration templates, test plans, and validation processes
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with product, delivery, and R&D to align platform development with customer and market needs
  • Offer insights into technical gaps and recommend enhancements for future product development

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS, or a related field

  • Experience configuring or developing enterprise software—ideally in retail planning, pricing, merchandising, or supply chain systems
  • Ability to translate functional requirements into technical specifications with precision
  • Solid documentation and organizational skills—you keep things clear, structured, and repeatable
  • A collaborative mindset and strong communication skills to support internal teams
  • Interest in working on an evolving product with real influence on design and scalability

Nice to have

  • Experience in post-sales, implementation, or solution delivery roles
  • Background with retail planning platforms or experience working for a competitor
  • Knowledge of enterprise applications such as ERP, PLM, or APS systems
  • Advanced SQL performance tuning or experience with data modeling
  • Familiarity with Power BI or other BI tools for data visualization
  • Understanding of data science or predictive analytics concept
