Support sales growth targets by collaborating with Sales, Customer Service, Operations and Engineering. Establish relationships with key channel partners to accelerate product launch. Full understanding of different market demands and be able to address issues at the grower and sales level.

What Will You Do?  

In order to grow and build a successful career with The Toro Company, you will be responsible for 

  • As the Technical Sales and Support Manager, you will be responsible for providing technical solutions to customers and outside sales.
  • Respond to end user inquiries, ranging from basic questions about technology, to troubleshooting technical issues related to our product. 
  • Support sales activities and provide additional customer support. Create and present technical presentations to customers.
  • They will also work with various internal groups within the division to escalate complex and high priority/high impact issues.
  • Communicate daily with customers in professional fashion to produce positive results.
  • Work as a team with internal and external sales to sell solutions.
  • Travel 50%.

What Do You Need?  

To be considered for this role, an individual should meet the following minimal requirements:  

  • BA/BS degree required.  Agricultural engineering discipline and/or a MBA preferred.
  • 5+ years experience required; preference given to industry experience with related experience in irrigation engineering and sales with emphasis on low flow or drip irrigation markets .
  • Experience in agricultural products and dealer-grower relationships
  • Cross-functional selling experience and propensity to identify and engage expert colleagues to conceive and close large opportunities.

Competitive Salary – The pay range takes into account skills, experience, education, and location. It is not common to be hired at or near the top of the range; compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the annual pay range is between $100,000 - $125,000. Cash compensation is one piece of our competitive total rewards package.
