About Us

At Artisan, we’re building real AI employees. Not copilots, not assistants, but autonomous teammates.

Our first, Ava, is an AI BDR. She finds and researches leads, writes emails in customers’ tone of voice, runs outbound sequences, self-optimizes, and manages email deliverability infrastructure. She learns, adapts, and improves over time, just like a human would.

Human team members use Artisan as their primary working platform, replacing a sprawling stack of sales tools, and have Artisans working alongside them.

We went through Y Combinator (W24) and have raised $35M+ from top investors. We’re at $7M+ ARR, with hundreds of customers including Remote, Quora, and SumUp.

We’re currently working on Artisan 2.0 - a unified GTM platform where AI employees (SDRs, AEs, RevOps, and more) consolidate tooling, run outbound, and drive revenue autonomously. And we’re hiring.

About the Role

As a Technical Recruiter at Artisan, you’ll own the full-cycle recruiting process for engineering, AI research, and product roles. You’ll partner directly with founders and hiring managers to attract world-class talent and help shape our growing team.

  • Build strong pipelines of technical talent through creative sourcing and outreach.

  • Collaborate closely with hiring managers to define role requirements and success profiles.

  • Deliver an outstanding candidate experience that reflects Artisan’s brand and culture.

  • Use data to improve recruiting velocity and quality of hire.

  • Maintain a strong understanding of market trends, compensation benchmarks, and emerging technologies.

  • Help define and scale recruiting processes, tools, and employer brand initiatives.

What You Bring
  • 3+ years of experience recruiting engineers, data scientists, or product talent (in-house or agency).

  • Proven track record hiring for fast-growing startups or tech companies.

  • Deep familiarity with the technical landscape — you can talk credibly about stacks, roles, and skills.

  • Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills.

  • Strong organization and ownership — you thrive in fast-moving, high-autonomy environments.

  • Passion for storytelling and employer branding.

  • A bias toward action and continuous improvement.

Why Join Us
  • Build the talent pool for a category-defining company at the frontier of AI and GTM.

  • Competitive compensation and full benefits.

  • Huge opportunity for impact in a high-ownership role.

  • Fast-moving culture where you’ll see the impact of your work every week.

  • A chance to do career-defining work at one of the fastest-growing AI startups.

What you need to know about the Boston Tech Scene

Boston is a powerhouse for technology innovation thanks to world-class research universities like MIT and Harvard and a robust pipeline of venture capital investment. Host to the first telephone call and one of the first general-purpose computers ever put into use, Boston is now a hub for biotechnology, robotics and artificial intelligence — though it’s also home to several B2B software giants. So it’s no surprise that the city consistently ranks among the greatest startup ecosystems in the world.

Key Facts About Boston Tech

  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
