Position Overview: 

We are seeking an experienced Technical Recruiter to support full-cycle recruiting for highly skilled technical professionals across defense, aerospace, and government contracting programs. This role requires deep knowledge of recruiting and familiarity with DoD environments. This position is based in Austin, TX, and relocation assistance is available for candidates interested in joining our team.

What You’ll Do: 

  • Manage full-cycle recruiting for manufacturing, engineering, and operation roles supporting defense and government programs (e.g., manufacturing engineers and technicians, software engineers, computer vision engineers, mechanical engineers, mission operations, and technical operations). 

  • Partner closely with to understand technical requirements, clearance needs, and program timelines. 

  • Source candidates through multiple channels including LinkedIn, job boards, referrals, networking events, and direct outreach. 

  • Screen candidates for technical competency, cultural fit, and eligibility to work on defense-related programs. 

  • Guide candidates through interview, offer, and onboarding processes, ensuring a high-quality candidate experience. 

  • Maintain accurate and compliant records in the applicant tracking system (ATS). 

  • Stay current on defense labor market trends, clearance requirements, and compliance regulations (ITAR, EAR, OFCCP). 

  • Support employer branding initiatives and represent the organization at recruiting events, career fairs, and industry conferences. 

What You’ll Need: 

  • 3–8 years of experience in recruiting, with at least some focus on defense, aerospace, manufacturing, or government contracting. 

  • Start-up exposure  

  • Proven experience recruiting for manufacturing, engineering, and business operations.  

  • Experience working with ATS platforms and sourcing tools (e.g., LinkedIn Recruiter, Ashby). 

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills. 

  • Ability to manage multiple requisitions in a fast-paced environment.
