Job Description:

THIS POSITION IS BASED IN ATLANTA GA WITH CANDIDATES REQUIRED TO BE IN THE OFFICE 5 DAYS A WEEK.

We are seeking a highly organized and communicative Technical Project Manager

to serve as the vital bridge between our US-based clients and our offshore technical teams.

You will be the primary point of contact for the client while overseeing a dedicated offshore team of Developers and Technical Business Analysts (Tech BAs). Your primary mission is to ensure smooth delivery, manage team bandwidth, and keep both the client and internal leadership aligned on progress, performance, and workload.
Key Responsibilities/Experience

  • Project Management: 3-5 years of proven technical project management experience specifically in the data engineering space — things like data pipelines, ETL processes, data warehousing, and/or BI tool implementations

  • Tools: Strong knowledge of SQL and Tableau

  • Client Management (Point of Contact): Act as the primary face of the team for our US-based client. Manage client expectations, facilitate meetings, provide regular status updates, and ensure their requirements are clearly understood by the offshore team.

  • Workload & Bandwidth Tracking: Actively monitor what the offshore Devs and Tech BAs are working on. Maintain full visibility into their task lists, sprint capacities, and daily bandwidth to prevent burnout or underutilization.

  • Cross-Functional Issue Resolution: Partner closely with Product Managers and Engineering Managers to proactively address, escalate, and resolve any project roadblocks, technical issues, or scope changes.

  • Task Management & Follow-Up: Drive project momentum. Track action items, follow up on deliverables, remove blockers, and ensure deadlines are met without compromising quality.

  • Leadership Reporting: Act as the liaison between the offshore team and the client's senior leadership. Communicate regularly regarding team performance, workload distribution, project health, and budget utilization.

  • Process Optimization: Ensure the team is following agile best practices (or the client’s preferred methodology) using project management tools like Jira
