Help Banks Transform How They Serve Customers

Prelim is revolutionizing how financial institutions onboard and serve their customers. Our platform powers critical banking operations for institutions across the U.S., from community banks to multi-billion dollar credit unions. We're a fast-growing, remote-first startup on a mission to make banking more accessible for everyone.

Why We're Looking for You

We're looking for a Technical Project Manager to join our Implementation team and lead banks through their digital transformation journey. You'll manage multiple high-stakes deployments simultaneously, coordinate cross-functional teams, and ensure our banking clients successfully launch on time.

This is a hands-on role where organization meets execution. You'll be the conductor orchestrating complex implementations while building trusted relationships with banking executives and operations teams.

What You'll Do

  • Manage multiple concurrent bank implementations with overlapping timelines, tracking dependencies and risks while driving projects to on-time completion

  • Lead client calls and build trusted relationships with stakeholders from C-suite executives to operations staff, handling difficult conversations and managing expectations

  • Coordinate cross-functional teams including Implementation Associates, engineers, and Customer Success to ensure smooth project execution and post-launch transitions

  • Translate complex technical requirements between clients and internal teams while protecting your implementation team from scope creep

  • Jump in to help with hands-on configuration and debugging when needed, keeping projects moving forward during resource constraints

  • Document solutions and identify process improvements to enhance future deployments and team efficiency

  • Escalate strategically to sales and leadership when additional support is needed to unblock critical issues

What We're Looking For

  • Exceptional organizational skills, you live by your task lists and calendars

  • Strong communication abilities with both technical and non-technical audiences

  • Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously

  • Grace under pressure, you stay calm when clients are stressed and deadlines are tight

  • Natural problem solver who finds creative solutions within constraints

  • Self-starter who takes ownership without waiting for direction

  • Legally authorized to work in the United States and located within the continental United States

Nice to Haves

  • Experience in financial services, banking, or fintech

  • Background in software implementations or professional services

  • Technical aptitude, ability to understand platform capabilities and limitations

  • Previous experience managing aggressive timelines with fixed deadlines

  • Familiarity with no-code platforms or integration projects

Why Prelim?

At Prelim, you'll join a remote-first company experiencing explosive growth, doubling revenue year-over-year while maintaining profitability. This is a high-energy environment where you'll work alongside talented professionals who are genuinely passionate about transforming banking.

We believe in promoting from within and developing our people. Our TPMs often grow into senior leadership roles, taking on larger deployments and mentoring new team members. You'll have clear paths for advancement as we scale to serve hundreds of banks.

Most importantly, you'll be part of a mission-driven team making banking more accessible. Your work will directly impact how financial institutions serve their communities, helping real people access the financial services they need.

Prelim values diversity and inclusion; people of all backgrounds are welcome to join our mission to transform banking.

Host to the first telephone call and one of the first general-purpose computers ever put into use, Boston is now a hub for biotechnology, robotics and artificial intelligence — though it’s also home to several B2B software giants. So it’s no surprise that the city consistently ranks among the greatest startup ecosystems in the world.

Key Facts About Boston Tech
