Job Description

Technical Project Manager

Duties:  Manage technical implementation through design, development, and deployment of business intelligence (“BI”), Data Science (“DS”) and Data Engineering (“DE”) projects. Provide guidance for a diverse team of BI Engineers, Data Engineers, and Data Scientists. Serve as liaison between client and Blend360 project team, managing risk and issues with the client while simultaneously leading the BI, DS and DE delivery of the projects. Provide team leadership towards scope, timeline, and quality of deliverables to ensure client satisfaction. Responsible for smooth collaboration and communication among the team including providing status updates and progress reports on the project to the relevant parties. Perform routine software testing of others’ work to guarantee accurate, complete processes and applications that support business needs. Utilize awareness and ensure compliance with all organizational software development standards, data dictionaries, industry best practices and business, security, privacy, and retention requirements. Manage technical projects for the design, development, and implementation of logical and physical processes in data warehousing/database construction. Oversee a team of Business Systems Analysts, Data Analysts, and Data Engineers in the data discovery process, use case/story creation, development of data tables, triggers, ETL, and stored procedures and functions. Ensure the delivery of all documentation, including Technical Requirements Documentation, Business Requirements Documentation, Database Schemas, and Data Dictionaries. Understand how the data warehouse will play a key role in the fulfilling the needs of the BI capabilities, in terms of suppling the data content and format needed to produce insightful visuals, as well as the analytic capabilities, in terms of being able to develop predictive/descriptive models, segmentation, and attribution. Conduct meetings to discuss project status. Participate in other company-focused tasks, including training, knowledge sharing, hiring, and others. 

Remote work permitted from any U.S. location. Salary: $122,000–$153,000 per year

 

Qualifications

Requirements:  Bachelor’s degree in computer science, management information systems, or a closely related IT field.

3 years of relevant professional experience, to include: 3 years of experience driving compliance with all organizational software development standards, data dictionaries, industry best practices, and business, security, privacy, and retention requirements; 3 years of experience ensuring the delivery of all project-related documentation, including Technical Requirements Documentation, Business Requirements Documentation, Database Schemas, and Data Dictionaries; 2 years of experience with SQL and Power BI; 2 years of experience in the design, development, and implementation of business analysis reporting applications; and 2 years of experience in database construction and monitoring, including with the discovery and requirements-gathering phases.
