In This Role
In this role, you will lead the creation of a standardized, centralized source of truth for end-to-end launch process documentation. You will establish and manage a documentation platform (Wiki-style environment), convert and migrate legacy content into structured formats such as Markdown, and ensure consistency, clarity, and usability across all process documentation.
You will collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders and subject matter experts (SMEs) to assess current state documentation, identify gaps and inconsistencies, and define a future-state framework aligned with industry best practices. This position requires strong project management capabilities, documentation tooling expertise, and the ability to drive multiple workstreams to completion while ensuring high-quality, scalable deliverables.
Responsibilities
- Develop, track, and manage project plans, timelines, milestones, and scope across multiple documentation workstreams
- Lead the selection and setup of documentation tooling and Wiki-style platforms
- Convert legacy documentation (e.g., Word documents) into standardized formats such as Markdown and upload into structured repositories
- Troubleshoot formatting, tagging, and metadata issues to ensure usability and searchability
- Review and assess current-state documentation across multiple sources to identify gaps, redundancies, and outdated information
- Define and implement standardized templates aligned with documentation best practices
- Conduct gap analysis and define future-state documentation frameworks
- Partner with SMEs to validate processes and gather missing details
- Draft, refine, and organize process documentation, including visuals and process maps
- Facilitate stakeholder reviews and incorporate feedback into deliverables
- Ensure adherence to documentation governance standards and taxonomy structures
- Prepare presentations, updates, and cost-benefit analyses for leadership and sponsors
- Ensure project management methodology and systems development processes are followed
- Manage stakeholder communications, feedback loops, and milestone reporting
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related technical field
- 5–7+ years of project management experience
- PMP or PMI certification preferred (or equivalent project management experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with documentation tools and platforms (Wiki environments, Markdown, version control systems)
- Strong understanding of metadata tagging, taxonomy design, and knowledge management principles
- 3+ years of experience documenting complex end-to-end business processes
- Experience consolidating fragmented documentation into a standardized, structured format
- 5+ years managing timelines, stakeholder engagement, and cross-functional workstreams
- Demonstrated ability to assess risks and apply project management principles to technical and business environments
- Strong communication skills, including executive-level presentations
- Experience delivering solutions in large-scale, multi-platform environments
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment and manage competing priorities
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA or advanced degree in a related field
- Experience building and governing enterprise-level Wiki or knowledge management platforms
- Familiarity with process visualization tools such as Visio or similar diagramming tools
- Experience supporting product launches, operations, or release management environments
- Background in content governance, documentation standardization, or enterprise knowledge base design
- Experience working in large, complex enterprise organizations
- Strong change management and stakeholder influence skills
Salary Range
At Blueprint, we strive to offer competitive pay that reflects the value of our team members. Compensation for this role is influenced by a variety of factors, including skills, education, responsibilities, experience, and geographic market. For candidates based in Washington State, the anticipated salary range is $120,000 to $130,000 per annum. Please note that we typically do not hire new employees at the top of the posted range. Actual starting pay will be determined based on experience, skills, and internal equity. The final salary and job title may vary depending on the selected candidate’s qualifications and could fall outside the stated range.
