TPM - Mobile
Requirement: The person is expected to be product owner for Android mobile app ( client name mentioned only for internal usage). Customer wants this person to be very familiar with Agile methodology (SAFe). If he is certified and trained in this, it will be an advantage. Secondly, the person needs to have Android experience.
This person is expected to think about the product and write epics, user stories and acceptance criteria. He needs to have good understanding of agile, scrum ceremonies, mobile app, android specific requirements, etc. His role can be described as Product Manager (Strategic) > Product Owner (Tactical) > Business Analyst (Operational)
This role will partner with engineering data science, clinical, product and design experts across the company to develop engagement frameworks and improve health outcomes.
Responsibilities:
· Participate in strategic conversations regarding high-level feature roadmap
· Own and prioritize team engineering roadmaps and create product vision for frameworks
· Drive technical design discussions, understand technical dependencies and communicate requirements to engineering
· Write detailed feature requirements and user stories
· Define, instrument, measure, and communicate funnels and key metrics for feature success
· Work closely with engineering and other internal teams for on-time delivery of relevant features
· Train and communicate product features and value to internal and external partners
· Add new value to a strong Product culture of continuous development and rapid testing and learning
· Stay on top of all relevant healthcare and consumer technology trends, competitors, and market offerings
Background/Experience desired
· Minimum of 3-5 years in product management role shipping software through multiple releases managing the entire lifecycle from discovery to launch
· Strong technical acumen to drive features with technical requirements
· Understanding of Apache Hadoop ecosystem and mobile back-end frameworks
· Experience building API-driven platforms and managing trade-offs between features and architecture improvements
· Background working for a healthcare company is desired
· Minimum three years working with consumer-facing web and mobile products
· Background with Agile, Scrum, Waterfall or other software development methodologies
· Detail oriented, manages risk and deliverable timelines
· Clear and compelling in written and spoken communication, including explaining technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage simultaneously competing priorities
· Proven success working collaboratively with teams across engineering, data science, product and design
· Familiarity with JIRA or similar trackers a plus
Compensation, Benefits and Duration
Minimum Compensation: USD 50,000
Maximum Compensation: USD 175,000
Compensation is based on actual experience and qualifications of the candidate. The above is a reasonable and a good faith estimate for the role.
