We are looking for a Technical Project Manager to join our top-notch financial applications development team. You will help plan, execute, and track technology-driven, client-facing projects and software releases—ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and aligned to business goals.
Responsibilities:
- Capture scope, develop timelines, and create detailed forecasting and work plans.
- Understand technical requirements and challenges.
- Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders.
- Track project budgets, resource allocation, and ensure the project has the necessary resources.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks throughout the project lifecycle.
- Document necessary processes and ensure all teams are aware of proper methodologies.
- Maintain software release schedule, status, and timelines
- Participate as a Scrum Master when required.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Computer Science or similar technical background
- Minimum of 5+ years’ experience in technical project management or Scrum Master role, including 3+ years with a software vendor.
- Comprehensive knowledge of software architecture and Agile SDLC; experience working with Agile Scrum teams and with Agile/Waterfall frameworks.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; ability to maintain and share project timelines visually and verbally.
- Strong communicator with the ability to work independently and in teams;
- Demonstrated ability to drive results to completion, think strategically, and build credibility with both technical and non-technical audiences
Salary range $135,000 - $150,000. Bonus Eligible.
