About the role


As a Technical Project Manager at Auxo, you will be responsible for overseeing the team and processes that deliver complex, enterprise-grade applications. In this role y​​ou will work closely with UX/UI, Solutions Architects, Application Engineers and QA to deliver the highest quality implementation experience and applications to our customers. The ideal candidates are resourceful problem solvers who are not afraid to roll up their sleeves and get involved in any part of the process, with a background in managing client engagements, technical project management, and/or solution delivery. You are the type of person that naturally finds a way to get things done, and done correctly.


What you'll do

  • Own end-to-end project execution from discovery through cutover and validation.
  • Manage multi-phase Azure Government Cloud migration timelines, sprints, resource allocations, and dependencies across multiple applications.
  • Coordinate with the Principal Architect, Infrastructure Lead, DevOps, and Business Analyst to align technical delivery with business goals.
  • Maintain and update project plans, RAID logs, and sprint boards (Jira/Azure DevOps).
  • Lead client-facing updates, steering meetings, and internal stand-ups.
  • Track progress on migration readiness, environment provisioning, testing, and compliance reviews.
  • Manage change control and ensure technical documentation and knowledge transfer artifacts are maintained.
  • Support budget tracking and forecasting against project phases.
  • Ensure risks and blockers are escalated early and resolved collaboratively.
  • Facilitate coordination across internal technical teams and external vendors.
  • Contribute to the definition and execution of post-migration stabilization and decommission planning.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's Degree in a related field, along with at least 2 years' experience working as a Technical Project Manager.
  • Project Management experience within cloud or enterprise modernization programs.
  • Experience managing Azure or hybrid cloud migrations within regulated environments (government industry).
  • Possess a working knowledge of infrastructure, networking, CI/CD, and application modernization.
  • Proficient in Agile/Scrum, with experience using Jira, Confluence, and Azure DevOps.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and cross-functional coordination skills.
  • Experience managing multiple concurrent application workstreams and phased cutovers.
  • Understanding of data governance, compliance, and security frameworks relevant to public sector cloud adoption (FedRAMP, NIST).

  • Team members must be able to work 8:30am - 5:30pm EST.
  • This position may require infrequent travel.
