Anduril Industries is a defense technology company with a mission to transform U.S. and allied military capabilities with advanced technology. By bringing the expertise, technology, and business model of the 21st century’s most innovative companies to the defense industry, Anduril is changing how military systems are designed, built and sold. Anduril’s family of systems is powered by Lattice OS, an AI-powered operating system that turns thousands of data streams into a realtime, 3D command and control center. As the world enters an era of strategic competition, Anduril is committed to bringing cutting-edge autonomy, AI, computer vision, sensor fusion, and networking technology to the military in months, not years.

ABOUT THE TEAM

The Maritime Application Team sits at the tip of the spear, transforming core platform technology into mission-winning capabilities that deliver a decisive operational edge at sea. We are a specialized software team embedded within the core Lattice Platform, uniquely positioned to accelerate the delivery of mission-critical capabilities for maritime platforms such as the Dive-LD, Dive-XL, Copperhead, and Seabed Sentry. Our role is to take powerful platform primitives—like data management, mission autonomy, simulation, auth, and orchestration—and rapidly forge them into integrated, robust applications for autonomous maritime systems. We act as an incubator for future platform features, ensuring that the solutions we build for today's contracts are the foundation for tomorrow's platform-wide advancements. If you are passionate about building high-impact software that directly supports operators in the field while shaping a next-generation platform, this is your team.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Technical Program Manager, you will be the critical force multiplier for our maritime application engineering organization. You’ll operate at the intersection of engineering, product, and business operations, taking ownership of our most complex and mission-critical initiatives. This isn’t just about tracking timelines and milestones, it’s about providing strategic direction, clearing roadblocks, and ensuring our cross-functional teams are aligned and executing like a well oiled machine to turn out ambitious goals into reality.

WHAT YOU’LL DO
  • Drive program execution by leading the end-to-end delivery of a comprehensive software product from UI to core software infrastructure used in mission critical operations by Anduril operators and military customers, from planning to launch.
  • Create clarity from chaos by working with software engineering and software product leads to define project scope, clarify requirements, and establish clear, realistic roadmaps.
  • Own communication by serving as the central hub for communication, ensuring all stakeholders from individual engineers to executive leaders are informed of progress, risks, and dependencies.
  • Be the technical bridge by using your technical background to facilitate deep architectural and design discussions, understand trade-offs, and ensure sound technical decisions are made.
  • Mitigate risk by proactively identifying technical and logistical risks and lead the charge in developing and implementing effective mitigation plans.
  • Refine our process by continuously improving our software development and delivery processes, helping our teams become more efficient, predictable, and effective.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Minimum of five years experience in technical program management or as an engineering lead/manager.
  • Robust technical aptitude and an ability to understand technical designs, software development lifecycle, challenges, trade-offs and risks; ability to work closely and effectively with engineering teams.
  • Strong experience and familiarity in project management for software development; practical familiarity with a variety of methodologies and ability to apply them where best suited.
  • Strong command of the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) and have successfully shipped complex software projects.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to use data and metrics to back up assumptions, recommendations, and drive decisions.
  • Ability to work within organizations with minimal structure and with minimal direction.
  • Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Familiarity and eagerness to learn a breadth of software capabilities from simulation technologies, autonomous systems, UI development and their applications in defense/military contexts.
  • Software engineering experience writing production software.
  • Professional certifications such as CISSP, Prosci, SAFe, or PMP
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or an engineering discipline, or equivalent hands-on experience.
