Technical Program Manager II
"Job Overview: Partner with business owners to understand new business opportunities and define the business and functional requirements. Deliver high quality business and functional requirements to the development teams for the purpose of completing the design, coding, testing, and implementation phases of the project life cycle. Major Accountabilities: • Coordinate and participate in review; revisions; changes; enhancements; testing; documentation; and member notification of product enhancements and/or business opportunities. • Provide business knowledge and technical support for requirement development. • Work closely with developers and requesters identifying data and functional requirements in the design of new/enhanced systems. • Ensure development objectives are accomplished; user testing is performed; and member notification is prepared in a timely fashion. • Consult with Business Owners on projects. • Develop and participate in the review of business and functional requirements and determine primary functions that the project is to provide. • Ensure timely and accurate communication with project staff throughout the life cycle of the project. • Ensure knowledge transfer of vendor technology to MasterCard staff. • Document and coordinate changes and enhancements of products and services. Prepare and/or present documentation of business/technical presentations. • Provide technical support for the member(s) to ensure adherence to requirements. • Evaluate business requests to determine feasibility; work with Software • Coordinate and assist in implementation of new or revised rules and policies. Education: • Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience required. • Advanced degree preferred. Knowledge / Experience: • Prior Business Analyst and Project Management experience required. • Must be proficient in Microsoft Project and Excel. • 1 to 3 years of experience is required. • Thorough knowledge and understanding of the field. Skills/ Abilities: • Broad application of standard principles, theories, concepts and techniques usually acquired through three to five years of experience. • Must be able to work independently once training period has been completed. • Must possess basic technical understanding. Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills."
ROLE• Support the Regional TECH Lead to achieve key regional objectives• Partner with business and regulatory owners to understand new business opportunities and regulatory requests• Define the business and/or functional-regulatory requirements• Deliver high-quality business and functional requirements to development teams• Support design, coding, testing, and implementation phases of the project life cycle• Partner with both the product and market teams to provide multi-rail solutions for our customers across 'Accounts, Blockchain, Cards and Data'• Support cross functional initiatives to reengineer end to end processes, driving agility and improving TTM• Act as a single point of contact for the business (markets, products, services) when they require non-standard support from other TECH functions• Manage - in partnership with Glob TREx - tracking, analysis and process improvement activities related to Regulatory and Core impacting initiatives.• Coordinate TECH's engagement in Mastercard's 'Studio' process which ensures we deliver best in class, fit for purpose products to the region• Create and support learning and communications for internal and external stakeholders of Technology innovation, culture of security and Tech Regulatory Execution • Support the articulation of the TECH Program Model to regional stakeholders
All About You:• Currently enrolled in a bachelor's or master's degree program majoring in Systems, Business Administration, Management or a related field.• Understanding of payments, the mobile and/or ecommerce market and technologies• Strong Communication and Presentation skills (Spanish/Portugues a plus) • Understanding of the areas of strategy, planning, and project management• Understanding of finance models and planning• Strong analytical/problem solving and planning skills• Understanding of operating in a global or matrixed environment

In line with Mastercard's total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role. The base salary offered may vary depending on multiple factors, including but not limited to location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Mastercard benefits for full time (and certain part time) employees generally include: insurance (including medical, prescription drug, dental, vision, disability, life insurance); flexible spending account and health savings account; paid leaves (including 16 weeks of new parent leave and up to 20 days of bereavement leave); 80 hours of Paid Sick and Safe Time, 25 days of vacation time and 5 personal days, pro-rated based on date of hire; 10 annual paid U.S. observed holidays; 401k with a best-in-class company match; deferred compensation for eligible roles; fitness reimbursement or on-site fitness facilities; eligibility for tuition reimbursement; and many more.
Pay Ranges
Miami, Florida: $75,000 - $125,000 USD
O'Fallon, Missouri: $75,000 - $125,000 USD
