Technical Product Owner, ERP Systems

Location: Remote 


Responsibilities:

As the Technical Product Owner, ERP Systems, you will play a leading role in the design of the future state supply chain tech experience. This will include scaling our existing ERP environment, integrating with core systems such as our new CRM to developing sleek front end interfaces using the Palantir Foundry platform. Throughout the mission, we expect you to be a steward of the Shift4 Way - make bold decisions, pursue excellence, take ownership of all that you do and build trust with your stakeholders. 


  • Collaborate with cross functional teams across Shift4 such as finance, supply chain, sales, legal, and marketing and to understand existing and future needs to related to Shift4’s supply chain operations
  • Facilitate technical decision making  using First Principles thinking; challenge stakeholders to remove parts throughout the design phase to keep with our goals of efficiency and maximum productivity
  • Lead technical gap analysis / needs assessment throughout the discovery and design phase; provide support in technical documentation related to requirements ahead of all sprint planning
  • Support Enterprise Operations Experience Manager in the day to day management of the product backlog; ensure user stories are well defined, sprint planning, etc.
  • Partner with the Enterprise Operations Experience Manager to develop the transformation program roadmap 
  • Serve as a voice of guidance throughout the build / configuration process; provide oversight during testing / QA to ensure product alignment with architecture designs and goals
  • Support change management activities in preparation for launch; provide technical support and leadership  during hypercare period.
  • Establish and maintain a culture of continuous improvement; assess performance and productivity of deployed capabilities technologies to ensure goals are being met, identify opportunities for iterative improvements, etc.


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration, related field or relevant experience
  • 7+ years of experience in an IT Business Analyst or related role
  • 5+ years of experience with Enterprise ERP Procurement and/or Finance including Oracle Fusion ERP or equivalent systems
  • Excellent business communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to effectively coordinate multiple projects involving multiple stakeholder groups and external consulting teams
  • Excellent interpersonal, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Deep understanding of data requirements and flows
  • Able to travel occasionally once a quarter to Shift4 headquarters in Center Valley, PA.


Desired Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in a relevant technical field
  • Experience using Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP Procurement or similar cloud-based Enterprise ERP System experience
  • Experience developing APIs, Master Data Management across enterprise systems
  • Experience leading business process design and implementation
  • Experience with one of the following platforms: Palantir Foundry, Mulesoft, Oracle Fusion, Salesforce
