About the Role 

As a Product Owner, you will bridge business, engineering, and operations to drive our platform’s automation, orchestration, and deployment capabilities. You will own the roadmap for container orchestration, CI/CD, and infrastructure automation, enabling cloud-native services and modernizing legacy workloads. Your work ensures secure, reliable, and efficient deployments across the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own and prioritize the backlog for platform automation, deployment, and compliance.
  • Translate business, security, and regulatory needs into clear epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Partner with engineering teams to:
    - Automate build, packaging, and deployment workflows
    - Improve CI/CD pipelines for reliability and security
    - Introduce orchestration best practices for zero-downtime deployments
    - Remove manual processes and increase end-to-end automation
  • Drive platform evolution to improve availability, scalability, resiliency, and disaster recovery.
  • Align deployment and automation initiatives with business goals while meeting compliance requirements.
  • Track KPIs such as deployment speed, reliability, adoption, and developer experience.
  • Support architecture and security teams with design validation and risk assessments.
  • Document requirements, decisions, and solution overviews clearly.
  • Facilitate cross-team discussions to align scope, dependencies, and timelines.


Requirements
  • Experience as a Product Owner/Manager in SaaS, enterprise software, or infrastructure platforms.
  • Comfortable working in DevOps environments with knowledge of: Kubernetes/Helm, GitOps, AWS or Azure, Terraform or other IaC tools, Scripting (Bash, Python, etc.), CI/CD (e.g., GitLab-CI)
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Strong English communication skills, both written and spoken, are essential for effective correspondence with customers, business partners and colleagues beyond the province of Quebec.
  • Ability to translate technical and regulatory needs into business outcomes.
  • Experience documenting epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
Nice to Have
  • Background in compliance frameworks (SOC2, FedRAMP, FIPS)  
  • Identity & Access Management (Keycloak, Cognito, Okta; OAuth2, OIDC, SAML)
  • Exposure to service mesh, serverless, or secrets management
  • Experience with observability, metrics, monitoring, and platform health
