Location: MetroWest Boston (hybrid)

About TruVideo

TruVideo (www.truvideo.com) builds AI-powered video and messaging technology for the automotive, trucking, aviation and insurance industries. Our video intelligence platform helps companies capture, manage, share and analyze visual information to support their customers and operations. We integrate with core enterprise systems such as CDK, Cox, and Reynolds & Reynolds. We are profitable and growing in transportation and new verticals.

About the Role

We're hiring a Technical Product Manager to own the technical roadmap for our mobile SDKs and emerging mobile capabilities. You'll sit between Product and Engineering, translating business goals into specs engineers can build against, unblocking delivery, and driving major partner integrations. This role is ideal for a hands-on technical leader who thrives at the intersection of product vision, engineering execution, and business outcomes.

What You'll Do

•    Support and steward the technical roadmap for TruVideo’s mobile offering, aligning with partner and market needs.

•    Translate business objectives into clear, testable requirements, including feasibility, technical specs, and partner-readiness criteria.

•    Partner with engineering to evaluate new technologies and shape technical direction.

•    Steward early-stage and advanced-development products from concept through viability.

•    Work hands-on with engineering to unblock delivery and ship on time without sacrificing quality.

•    Coordinate across onshore and offshore teams in the US, South America, and India.

•    Establish documentation, knowledge-sharing, and TPM practices that scale with the team.

What You'll Bring

•    1–3 years in product or technical product management, plus 1–3 years as a software engineer.

•    Strong background in mobile (iOS and/or Android) and cloud services.

•    Ability to read and review code in Swift, Kotlin, JavaScript, or similar and engage substantively in engineering discussions.

•    Track record shipping SDKs, APIs, or embedded services consumed by third parties.

•    Demonstrated judgment on product tradeoffs — what to build, what to cut, what to defer.

•    Excellent communication; effective with engineers and business stakeholders alike.

•    Experience working with distributed or offshore engineering teams.

•    Bachelor's in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.

Nice to Have

•    Experience with mobile camera APIs or AR/XR frameworks (ARKit, ARCore, Android XR).

•    Spanish fluency.

•    Prior exposure to enterprise platforms in transportation, insurance, field services or others.

Why TruVideo

•    Strong product-market fit and a clear plan to double the business.

•    A pivotal role shaping mobile video for transportation and the adjacent industries we're moving into.

•    Real growth runway: small enough that what you build matters, established enough that we ship to real, industry-leading customers.
