As a Technical Product Manager (TPM), you influence how the business goes from ideas to value. You will be responsible for the full solution lifecycle; working with stakeholders to identify the most important pain points, designing solutions, authoring requirements, prioritizing work, guiding development, and ensuring successful adoption. - Sit with business stakeholders to help translate pain points into business cases.
- Research and validate problems to ensure solutions address root causes rather than symptoms.
- Work with cross-functional departments to ideate solutions and develop recommendations.
- Prioritize opportunities based on business value, strategic alignment, effort, and risk.
- Translate ideas into business and technical requirements.
- Create user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and supporting documentation.
- Own and maintain product roadmaps and backlogs.
- Assist in sprint planning and allocation of engineering resources.
- Work with engineers during development to ensure on-time and on-spec delivery.
- Make recommendations regarding scope, sequencing, and tradeoffs throughout the development process.
- Partner with risk, compliance, operations, and information security teams to ensure solutions meet governance and regulatory requirements.
- Develop launch strategies, training materials, and communication plans to ensure successful adoption.
- Maintain performance metrics on solutions to identify value, adoption, and opportunities for improvement.
- Gather feedback after launch and continuously improve products and workflows.
- Make strategic recommendations on technology, processes, and automation opportunities to keep the bank modern and efficient.
